Congrats to Chelsea in an excellent second half. All we need now is Arsenal to lift the FA cup and then it'll be congrats on a great season for Man United. Gudjonsson, cool as you like

Aston Villa and AC Milan left for us now. Going to be a great last few weeks. Bring on 2005-06.

packt up 05-10-2005 05:25 PM

Nothing between the teams eh Sir Alex...

Ogen 05-10-2005 05:54 PM

Did I hear right earlier from the commentator that that was Chelsea's 13th win at Old Trafford in 31 games amazing record that if I did.

Fuckity my link broke

toxic rooster 05-11-2005 08:34 AM

Anyway it was a knock off of the UEFA.com homepage with a link at the top to a news story saying that UEFA had overruled the FA and said that if Liverpool had won the CL, they'd get in over Everton, then when you clicked on the link it had David Moyes holding an Everton scarf and the caption 'GOTCHA'

Charlton, btw, need a striker. If they had a 20 goals a season man they would've made Europe this season, I am convinced of that. Euell, Jeffers, Bartlett, Johansson...between them there's nothing.

Arsenal have apparently enquired about Lescott :foc:

Wengerland 05-11-2005 09:13 AM

Oh fuck, We've offered a contract to Rab Douglas to replace Walker :(

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 09:29 AM

Rafael Van Der Vaart has apparently handed in a Transfer Request at Ajax

Danny Electric 05-11-2005 09:33 AM

Yeah, he was always going to leave.

toxic rooster 05-11-2005 09:39 AM

Isn't Lescott that cunt with the funny shaped head?

Rob Ban Fan 05-11-2005 11:57 AM

its a scar, but yes.

We've released Stone, Shaka, Berger and Foxe :|

I don't really care about Foxe because he was total shit, it was pretty obvious Shaka was gonna go but thats still a bugger, Berger hasn't looked good for 6 months, is injured a lot and is old but he's still decent but I can't believe we let Stoney go. Disgraceful.

Danny Electric 05-11-2005 01:18 PM

You'll bring in some Slovakians and Latvians.

No reference to my quote at all you pissed bastard

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 03:45 PM

Arsenal have absolutely pissed over Everton in the first half, truly phenomenal performance.

3-0

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 04:31 PM

5-0, total and utter slaughter at the moment

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 04:35 PM

6-0

packt up 05-11-2005 04:36 PM

Holy shit at the Arsenal score. I'm not watching the game but I bet its the sexiest football been played this season.

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 04:39 PM

It beats the shit out of anything I've seen in a long time

They are absolute class, and this kinda enforces my belief that Everton aren't even gonna qualify for the Champions League proper

That is the worst argument in the world

By saying that I could go on to the point that Torquay are the best team in Europe

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 04:42 PM

Oh, and its 7-0

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 04:43 PM

Also, Everton's goal difference is now 0

Cactus Sid 05-11-2005 04:52 PM

I'm guessing thats the biggest defeat in the Premiership this season

Whatever, Arsenal were just.....amazing. Words simply can't do that performance justice.

toxic rooster 05-11-2005 05:18 PM

It was my birthday present :o

Sorta wish I'd got up to watch the match now, ah well it's on here in a couple of hours anyway

Wengerland 05-11-2005 05:34 PM

hahaha 7-0

Unlucky Montana

toxic rooster 05-11-2005 05:36 PM

Meaningless game, though it is nice :o

Danny Electric 05-11-2005 05:52 PM

HAHA TONY MONTANA

Where's my argument? I was simply stating some facts and laughing at them. Sorry I insulted your football skills so this is some sort of zinger comeback, good one. We might support the same team but you're nothing like me. I have my season ticket, I am a positive fan. You're a negative fat cunt with a big mouth. Congrats on trying to prove your point. How is Torquay the best team in Europe then? Shut your mouth, when I want a Peter Kay lookalikes opinion I'll ask for it.

As far as Everton goes that 7-0 thrashing was hillarious in the pub. I'm so glad Cactus Sid added five posts of nothing to the discussion. Overall Arsenal are terrific. Chelsea and Arsenal are the best teams in the premiership without a doubt. However some clever signings and I see a top three position easily. It's all good.

Your argument was the same old tired, someone loses to someone who lost to someone who lost to someone yadda yadda. At the end of the day, the best team will win, I hope that is Liverpool, but I'm not gonna stick my neck out and say we will win, because I genuinly think its too close to call.

I don't give a shit if you don't care about my footballing skills, its a football discussion thread, so I brought it up. A couple of months ago (before you started posting in this thread) there was a discussion about who people played for, where they played, and I mentioned that I had got injured. I was simply saying that I was then back playing to those who replied to my message. Whether people cared or not is their business, I was just updating something from a time gone by. I wasn't trying to make a "zinger comeback" because quite frankly I don't bare grudges against people who choose to reply negatively to something I have said.

Your right though, we are nothing like each other in terms of how we support Liverpool. But I've always been of the opinion that people who don't accept anything negative being said against their team as really sad, because they don't accept reality. Its the reason why I hate so many Man Utd fans, and it saddens me to see Liverpool fans doing the same. I would have a season ticket, if I didn't live 300 miles away and had the money to afford one. Of course, the typical reaction of someone who doesn't like it when someone doesn't have the exact same opinion as them, is to resort to childish name calling, as you've just demonstrated.

I'm not gonna sit here and work out that Torquay beat a certain team, who beat a certain team, who beat a certain team, who beat Liverpool. I was just suggesting that just because one team beats another, it doesn't neccessarily make them better.

Oh, and nice one with the Peter Key, I've heard it all before mate, and quite frankly, if you don't wanna hear my opinion (because its different to yours) put me on the ignore list. Hey, why don't you put everyone else who disagrees with you on it as well, because you know, if everyone in a football discussion thread doesn't agree with you, thats a lot of opinions you didn't ask for.

Ok, I added a few posts while watching the game, big deal, I'm sure people have done it before, I'm not quite sure what is wrong with mentioning the score, especially when the game was as dramatic as it was.

At the end of the day, I support Liverpool, you support Liverpool. We both want them to win, but we both have different opinions on the team, and we both show our support in different ways, its basically gonna have to be a case of agreeing to disagree.

toxic rooster 05-11-2005 09:34 PM

On the subject of Liverpool, if they do win it I'm going to start throwing punches the first time I see the headline "Turkish Delight":mad::mad:

Londoner 05-12-2005 11:22 AM

So, any thoughts ont he Glazier bid? I'm amazed no one has mentioned it. This is a sad day for football i think, but it was always going to happen. This is why I have always hated Man utd since I got into football, they're a business and were always going to go corrupt in the end..and now the truth is being told. Shame they've had to corrupt football along with it..or it looks likely that's going to happen atleast, if Glazier gets his way that is.
