That's probably what they're aiming for. Probably about 0.1% of wrestling fans care about the birds wrestling for their wrestling ability. Maybe like 15-20% care about them for their tits and the rest don't care in the slightest.

I think it's odd that they all have last names.

Some recent dirtsheet stuff:

Quote:

Paul Heyman got “major props” backstage for what was described as one of the best in-ring action promo angles ever on this week’s Monday Night RAW from Phoenix where he beat CM Punk with a kendo stick. When he got to the back, Triple H put him over and called his work “magic.”

The plan as of this week is for a new Paul Heyman guy to “save him” at Night of Champions next month. We’re told this is the current course of storyline progression.
Quote:

Do not be surprised if WWE gives Rob Van Dam the World Heavyweight Title at the Night of Champions pay-per-view next month. RVD is expected to get a huge pop in Detroit and if WWE wants a title change for a few weeks or even a transition to Damien Sandow, this could be the best opportunity.

The pairing of Ricardo Rodriguez with Rob Van Dam was “super last minute” because Rey Mysterio wasn’t ready to come back.
Quote:

Seth Rollins is officially out of the WWE doghouse. Randy Orton told a producer at RAW on Monday night in Phoenix that he enjoys working with The Shield.

Word is that Dolph Ziggler is in the WWE doghouse. He was put under to Antonio Cesaro in a match taped for WWE Superstars and it’s rumored that he recently got into it with Randy Orton.
Quote:

There is talk of pairing CM Punk with Daniel Bryan to feud with Triple H and Randy Orton. Under this scenario, Punk would do a worked shoot promo with Bryan about where they came from and how Punk had to threaten to quit before getting a push.

He would focus on Triple H “holding guys down” and how they aren’t the model WWE guys and now they’re treating Bryan how they treated him.

Word is that under this scenario, Paul Heyman would realign with Punk because the only thing they hate more than each other is the McMahons.

Another proposed plan is to align Bryan with Shawn Michaels, like we’ve written about before.

So they are essentially dropping everything, doing the four matches this coming Thursday, and ending it from there with the top four point getters going to the 9/12 final four show.

Innovator 08-28-2013 04:08 PM

Funny, I thought the Shawn/HHH stuff was going to happen, as well as Punk coming to DB's help once his feud with Heyman subsides.

It's slightly annoying me that he's capitalised every word in the video title but the name "Jimmy".

Rebecca <del>Knox</del> <del>Quinn</del> Lynch has an edge over the other NXT Divas brought up because she competed in a ton of intergender matches back in Ireland. That afforded her much better competition than whatever the former non-wrestler NXT Divas had for practice when they weren't being fitness models, broadcasters, or whatever.

Shawn aligning with Bryan would be way better than punk.

Still think the best scenario is Bryan overcoming the odds and beating these guys himself.

Holy shit did Dolph really job to Cesaro on Superstars? This face turn is going swimmingly.

It was a pretty good match tho

Also, I'd like to point out that I used to get tons of shit for closing/merging threads that were far worse than the Goldberg/Undertaker thread.

It was more about me not liking Ryback than wanting Goldberg back.

Even though I wouldn't mind seeing Goldberg in a one-time appearance or something.

Seth82 08-29-2013 08:41 PM

thought this was rather interesting.

This was taken from an old observer when Annodeus, Inc. bailed them out of financial problems in 1999. These are performers under contract to HHG and their respective annual salary at the time.

Bill Alfonso: $32,000

Sabu: $156,000

Steve Corino: $32,000

Lance Storm: $160,000

Francine: $58,500

Spike Dudley: $75,000

Super Crazy: $52,000

Tommy Dreamer: $130,000

Jerry Lynn: $104,000

Justin Credible: $91,000

Dawn Marie: $75,000

Taz: $380,000

RVD: $156,000

Tajiri: $52,000

Dudleys: No annual contract

Steve Karel (front office) $150,000

ECW Management Group(?) $180,000 - Supposedly what Heyman was paying himself.

Even he was owed money from the company.

I think that from all of the wrestling and MMA I have watched in my life, that I have no appreciation of assault laws.

He was ECW's guy back in the 90s.

I think part of his salary is from designing all the t-shirts too.

TNA ended up forgetting that Magnus still needed to renew his work VISA until yesterday. Ended up screwing up the first emergency plan to end BFG series this year which was done because they didn't realize until recently how behind schedule they were this year.

Quote:

TNA Wrestling issued a statement this afternoon through its company website concerning tonight's Bound For Glory Series matches on Impact Wrestling since tournament leader Magnus will be not be appearing on the show "due to an unforeseen issue."

The British grappler was scheduled to compete against Jeff Hardy and as a result of his absence, they have announced the following changes to the show.

"Magnus, due to an unforeseen issue, will not be appearing on tonight’s Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. Magnus currently has competed in 5 matches and was scheduled to face Kazarian on Xplosion this week and Jeff Hardy on Spike TV tonight. Due to the circumstances, TNA officials have met and made the following decision:

"Magnus will stand with his current total of 39 points. Jeff Hardy and Kazarian will face each other tonight on Impact Wrestling on Spike TV to make up their originally scheduled match with Magnus. Also the originally scheduled Kazarian vs. Hernandez match will move to Xplosion this week.

"Must Win Thursday“ tonight will now feature three matches with serious implications on the BFG Series Final Four scheduled for No Surrender in St. Louis; Austin Aries vs. Christopher Daniels, Jeff Hardy vs. Frankie Kazarian, and AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode. Tune in tonight at 9/8c for all this and the return of Hulk Hogan on Spike TV."
