Just to clear this up for you xrod, I have not watched this show. I have not watched NXT. I have not stated a preference. If I have a bias it's New Japan because that's what I actually watch.

In case you missed the purpose of my post regarding thread statistics, the point is that you are a truly awful, unintelligent contributor. The fact you have the second most posts in that thread, behind only the distinctly pompous Noid, who somehow managed to post over 100 times in two hours, indicates that the majority posting about live NXT on TPWW are classless morons who like to cast aspertions about others while denying the truth of their own unsavoury behaviour. In that sense, with no context of either show, the moral victory goes to AEW.

I'm classless, when I'm the one posting without personally attacking other posters. The purpose of your post is to sling insults for no other reason then you are seething for I don't even know why.

And yet you can't seem to grasp that I made as many post in the AEW thread as I did in the NXT thread, cause I was watching both shows. I never said "look which thread has the most posts". Who cares?

I mean we are at a point where we can't like both shows without getting ridiculed.

I get it, I do poke at AEW, but guess what, I poke at NXT and WWE as well. When I do that about WWE, NXT, nobody cares. I do it about AEW and people flip out, accuse me of all sorts of things, and act like all I do is praise WWE like a brainwashed person and only hate AEW.

Truth is I've paid for 3 AEW PPVs, watched the 2 free ones, watched the road to Dynamite on Tuesday, watched Dynamite last night, and will watch it next week.

I can't do much more to support their product, but it is impossible for me to be as loyal to AEW as some of the posters here are, or be as loyal to WWE as those posters assume I am.

You guys have taken the fun out of posting about wrestling.

the only thing Ive ever said on here about AEW that was the least bit critical was 50 bucks for their PPVs before they even aired a show was too damn expensive. and if I go to full gear that point might be moot for me as well since I sort of think they should have gotten a few more weeks of tv under their belt before another PPV

I enjoyed the show. it definitely had a big feel to it. More then TNA ever had in my opinion. I just hope they can sustain viewership over the next few weeks and months. I get worried about people losing interest watching a lot of no names or WWE lifelong mid carders. Seeing Swagger was cool and all, but will people really care about him? They have to crush it with the writing, promos and storylines. I expect them to hover around 1.0 for a while as they try and figure out things.

Riho is definitely a better choice than Nyla. But goddamn does her offence look weak

My prob with Riho is that she seems very "generic".... nothing about her seems to "stand out" or "set her apart".

No no no. Nxt had the better matches and show and therefore they win despite blowing out nxt in the ratings and in word of mouth.

Why would you go out of your way to count them? Very odd. And I was one of the few watching NXT, so of course they’re mainly my posts. I tapped out on AEW some time ago. But I would expect the new shiny thing to get more attention for their debut.

Why did I check who posted? Well Noid, I didn't watch either show and was interested to read the reactions of people who did, however, before I did this I clicked on the post counts to see who had contributed to each thread. Seeing that you had four times the amount of posts in that thread as the next guy, in this case the equally repellant xrod, I decided not to bother reading it because why on earth would anyone want to waste their time reading over 100 of your posts in a linear thread? Astonished by how poorly the NXT thread had performed from both the view of post quality and engagement, I decided to share that here, as it's a relevant information point to judge how this first "head to head" was received by the TPWW community.

Cody shared a thing on Twitter touting an upcoming series called AEW: Dark on the company YouTube channel that will showcase dark matches and segments from Dynamite. It will be hosted by Tony Schiavone.

I like that this will be an official thing from the company, rather than hearing about sweet matches and only maybe being able to see them somewhere eventually. Plus it's a good way to push subscribers to their YouTube so people can see the "Road to" videos they've been making.
