Tampa Bay 1 game back, baby.

Let's beat up on them Bo Sox.

4-game set in Boston and then roll on to Baltimore.

The Condor 04-12-2013 12:40 AM

Eventually the Yankees will play again.

Tomorrow is iffy looking apparently.

OssMan 04-12-2013 01:19 AM

Watched the first 6 innings on the Nationals game with relative consistency, took the 7th and 8th off, came back and watched the 9th

Going to say that yes I watched a whole game. My criterion is that if someone were to ask if I watched the game, I would say yes. That gives me my first game of the year and brings me to1 (one) game watched.

Major League Baseball has taken an unprecedented step in the Biogenesis of America investigation, paying a former employee of the South Florida anti-aging clinic linked to performance-enhancing drugs for documents on athletes named in the case, the New York Times reported Thursday night.

The move, according to the newspaper, came after at least one player linked to the clinic bought documents from a former employee there in order to destroy them. The Times, citing two unidentified people briefed on the matter, reported other players connected to the now-shuttered clinic have attempted to do the same in order to keep the potentially incriminating documents away from the league

Vin Scully sorting out a brawl with more Vin Scully lipreading

RoXer 04-12-2013 05:17 AM

Also Kemp and Quinten exchanged words in the parking lot supposedly

Evil Vito 04-12-2013 08:07 AM

The best part of bench clearing brawls is when the bullpens empty out, since they always seem to come in in a full sprint but the brawl is often pretty much done by the time they arrive.

Keith 04-12-2013 08:41 AM

I don't like Zack Greinke. I wish Quentin would've knocked him out.

Also, about Vin Scully, dude shows no emotion. He just talks.

Last night Adrian Gonzalez hit a 1st inning home run, and as he rounded the bases Scully went on about how Gonzalez's home run reminded him (Vin) of the 1st home run he hit as a Dodger last year.

I prefer Chip Caray or Joe Buck, they go crazy when some shit goes down.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-12-2013 09:28 AM

Keith just said he prefers Joe Buck to Vin Scully.

I have never neg repped anyone before but I am so tempted right now.

DaveBrawl 04-12-2013 09:37 AM

Best reason I've heard yet.

Keith 04-12-2013 09:38 AM

My life doesn't revolve around whether I get neg repped or not, my friend.

Not only do I prefer Joe Buck over Vin Scully, but like I said, also Chip Caray.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-12-2013 09:42 AM

Seriously one of the 5 most outrageous posts in TPWW history.

Ermaximus 04-12-2013 09:42 AM

This Braves-Expos series this weekend is going to be pretty awesome.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-12-2013 09:47 AM

Oh my god. Seriously so steamed right now. Seriously.

Evil Vito 04-12-2013 10:25 AM

Anybody who says Vin Scully isn't the best PBP guy in baseball history is wrong. It's not open to interpretation.

YOUR Hero 04-12-2013 10:45 AM

I want more Bo Jackson

screech 04-12-2013 10:45 AM

Joe Buck is horrendous, also. What the fuck, Keith?

Frank Drebin 04-12-2013 11:14 AM

Now say you prefer Hawk Harrelson to Vin Scully, and the TPWW servers will crash.

DaveBrawl 04-12-2013 11:16 AM

I love Hawk Harrelson, I think he's hilarious, but he's no Vin Scully.

Here are some times when Joe Buck went crazy when some shit went down

Ermaximus 04-12-2013 12:14 PM

Yea, Joe Buck is pretty damn terrible.

RP 04-12-2013 12:33 PM

LOL why was Quentin charging the mound there? And why was Greinke squaring up on him like he was in a tackle drill? Loads of stupidness here. Suspend both of them for the rest of the season.

Skippord 04-12-2013 01:51 PM

really want to throw something at Keith right now

90% of people have probably never even heard him call a game. I listened to a dodgers game on xm once just to hear him and can't say that he's the greatest ever.
I've only heard highlight clips of his early work and only heard him call a coupe games really late in his career but I think Chuck Thompson was just as good for the Orioles and all the national work he did.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-12-2013 03:31 PM

Started reading Droford's post and thought "he's gonna say the Baltimore guy is better hes definitely gonna say the Baltimore guy is better."

Don't ever change, D.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-12-2013 03:33 PM

Gotta throw a little love Gary Thorne's way though, mannnnnn.

screech 04-12-2013 04:13 PM

Gotta throw Harry Kalas into the mix, if only to share this picture:

Shut the fuck up. SHUT THE FUCK UP. Vin Scully is a fucking LEGEND.

SammyG 04-12-2013 04:25 PM

I am outraged, still, about the Quentin incident. Hot headed piece of shit. It was clearly an unintentional HBP. Why the fuck would he hit him intentionally on a 3-2 count in a 1 run game? Makes NO sense at all. Hope Quentin is suspended 50 games. This Greinke injury sucks ass, big hit to our rotation.

road doggy dogg 04-12-2013 05:13 PM

lol you can't actually be this much of a spaz. There's no chance he gets anywhere near 50 games, are you kidding. He'll likely get a 5-10 game suspension.

Has anyone ever been suspended that long? Seems a bit much.

Frank Drebin 04-12-2013 06:20 PM

Greinke used to hit Quentin when they played in the AL central. He's a serious guy,Quentin, so he got angry. Guessing 10 games, appeals it to 8.

Frank Drebin 04-12-2013 06:29 PM

Carlos Villanueva was dealing today. Wind was blowing out too. Could be a great under the radar signing if he dosent tire out half way through the year and leave changeups over the plate.

Melky and Fat-ass Colon were, but that was PED-related
