Maybe I'm taking the match for what it was, and not analyzing it by "blown spots" etc. From an entertainment standpoint, its up there with HBK and Taker I to me. I didnt say it exceeds it, I'm saying its one of the better matches I've seen.

Man I tried a few times to post on here when Punk won but the traffic was to heavy and I was just to excited to keep refreshing but now... wow... after what had happened earlier in this PPV I really didn't think Punk was coming away with it. PPV of the year so far!

I have absolutely no idea where this is going -- and that is a very, very good thing. To me, watching RAW is an absolute must now. Part of me is hoping that Cena and Punk become dark crusaders against the WWE.

Plus, Christian is Heavyweight Champion of the World! Daniel Bryan won Money in the Bank! Del Rio won, but has no one to cash in on! This is awesome, ladies and gentlemen.

Even though I love Christian, I am absolutely going to mark out like a little bitch if Orton attacks Christian during a title reign coronation ceremony, and then DB cashes in. :love:

I should have stuck with my picks of Del Rio and Bryan, but I switched to Kingston and Barrett. I'm much more interested in both shows now.

Thinking about RAW, Ziggler was right....the US title is the only thing that means something on RAW now.

I'd love to see Christian on RAW, offering to be the sole champion of the WWE in the segment where Cena gets fired. Man, the WWE could be so good right now. Honestly so many ways they can go with this.

Oddly enough, I still see Christian being "whiny and dissatisfied", since everyone's talking about CM Punk. Also, see AotR asking- no, DEMANDING- that Vince declare him WWE Champion. He prematurely had his own belt made and everything. It's an old school white strapped* winged eagle (which matches his white/gold scarf... but, you already know that!)

Just watched the Raw MITB and HOLY SHIT, probably one of the best in recent memory. Much better than the smackdown one for me though that wasn't bad, but the Raw one was unique, the spots flowed together well and i must've said holy shit out loud like 4 times, lol.

It could happen, but I don't see the point. If they wanted Barrett to hold the briefcase, they should have put it on him from the start. It just pollutes the gimmick that way. Bryan wins, and thus the anticipation around him becoming a future World Champion becomes almost set in stone as he is built up.

Bryan could be a gentleman and could announce ahead of time when he will challenge. I'd mark out for a scenario where he declares that he'll be challenging for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXVIII. Cena vs. Rock, Bryan vs. the World Heavyweight Champion and whoever wins the Royal Rumble gets to join the fray of either one.

Doesn't need to go down like that, but it could work, and would fit Bryan's character. But so would Nexusing the champ, spitting in their face, kicking their head off and cashing in there...

And last but not least, from Cena. He did a hell of a job, this match is one of the best of all times in terms of build, execution, all of it. Cena proved a lot tonight, if he had anything to prove.

Punk/Cena goes without saying - highlight of the night by far. But what surprised me even more waa that Randy Orton made me actually care about his characer. Christian spitting was a classic heel move, but Randys response was fantastic.

If Punk/Cena was the highlight of the night, then Orton/Christian were definitely the unsung heroes of the night.

Also this is up there as one of the best promo packages to come out of WWE:
