According to r/SquaredCircle, if the Men's Elimination Chamber match goes on last at this Sunday's show, it will be the first time since the start of the current Brand Split Era that the WWE Championship main evented a co-branded PPV.

Also if Becky Lynch competes in the real main event match at Mania 35, she will be the first non-Canadian and non-American to do so since Andre the Giant at Mania 3. The streak only breaks if its the actual last match and not WWE's stance of several matches having main event status for Mania.

I would love for Smackdown to close the show like they did at TLC. I don't believe the female performers in the tag team title chamber match are strong enough to close the show. Also, it's a bit disheartening that we do not have a clue as to what the WWE Championship or Smackdown Women's Championship matches are going to be for Wrestlemania.

"RAW Women's Championship" headlining Wrestlemania just doesn't sound right.

Actually, in WWE’s defense and to Becky’s possible credit, it does feel like they are genuinely trying to build Mania around her. We don’t even have an inkling where anything other than Brock/Seth is going.

MLW lost the rights to WarGames and got banned from ever holding a match similar in concept due to a recent deal made with WWE.

Under MLW's ownership of the trademark, they were a lot more willing to let other companies use the name and match concept but when it came to intital talks with the WWE, WWE refused to play nice and wanted exclusive ownership of both.

They would have got paid out the ass though, surely?

Very likely although they pretty much had no choice but to give up the trademark and agree to all of WWE's demands.

The only other option was to reject WWE's offer and keep the trademark but then possibly deal with a costly legal battle since WWE wasn't going to back down.

I’m sure they wouldn’t, but wasn’t Court smart enough to pick up the trademark? It sounds...dicey. But probably costly to even fight. I hope they got something out of it, because while I haven’t honestly been watching, I wish MLW the best.
