Tb1 11-30-2020 02:11 AM

been playing MCC and fortnite primarily, tend to bounce back and fourth

would love to play if anyone is enjoying those

Ruien 11-30-2020 06:59 AM

Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Super fun game but I dislike the idea of having to do a second play through. Hopefully it isn't a hidden ending at the end of hard mode because I probably won't do it for another 6 months (if ever).

Big Vic 11-30-2020 09:23 AM

Mrs got me New Super Mario deluxe for Christmas... excited.

OssMan 12-01-2020 12:09 AM

Just beat Silent Hill 2. Had its ups and downs, definitely frustrating and obnoxious at points, really cool story telling though. Enjoyed the last half way more than the first. Played it on the recommendation of a friend- cool experience

Games I've beaten in 2020:

Luigi's Mansion
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
The Last of Us Part II
Death Stranding
Celeste
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Rule of Rose
Final Fantasy XV
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
Silent Hill 2

Silent Hill 2 is one of the top games of all time, imo, esp if you like adventure games and stories etc.
SPOILER: show
Angela staircase scene is forever etched in my memory...not a lot of games can pull that off

Curtis 12-01-2020 09:31 PM

Having played most of the Silent Hill games, I've spent a lot of time thinking about what my own personal "silent hill" would be like. Despite being a horror game, I find the town of Silent Hill and its atmosphere to be pretty comfy.
I would, no lie, would love to just hang around Silent Hill in real life...just walk around a quiet desolate place, in a dreamlike haze, with elements of my subconscious nightmares...
Maybe that's what the afterlife is like, before you get "recycled" again.

Helmsphere 12-01-2020 11:21 PM

One of these days I'm going to get my girlfriend thru Battle block theater.

We almost quit playing together after the Wakanda level in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

rez 12-02-2020 12:14 AM

I'm still really enjoying Stadia. There's a hater or two here but I have the bandwidth and the TVs to take advantage of it.

I was originally impressed with AC: O enough to purchase the last Doom and now the latest AC: Valhallla and preordered Cyberpunk.

The new stupid arguments are Xbox/PC versus PS versus Stadia(doubt the coding is much different than PC), versus Switch. There's Amazon and Steam in there somewhere too, I guess. People get so mad lol

Silent Hill 2 is boss but 3 is even better. It's like peak Silent Hill. We don't talk about anything after 4.

Where I grew up was basically Silent Hill. It's economy pretty relies on tourism, it has a lake, it's small and isolated, and some of its citizens displayed cult-minded behavior. It's a piece of shit though, so I don't recommend it.

I assume MCC means Master Chief Collection?

Helmsphere 12-07-2020 01:12 AM

Ended up deciding to play Saints Row:IV

So far I'm not disappointed.

GD 12-07-2020 02:53 AM

Valhalla is incredibly buggy. Probably never paying full price for a Ubisoft game in the future.

I'm trying to power through it. I'm around 240 power level...need to finish it before mid week Cyberpunk release..

I've found the best way to deal with quest bugs is to travel to Viewpoints, log off and back in.

rez 12-09-2020 09:15 AM

Finished the main AC:V storyline last night...don't feel like killing the remaining order or finishing the Valhalla mythical storyline. On to Cyberpunk.

I wish I had played Silent Hill when I was younger, it might have had more of an impact on me. The game didn't hit me until the very end

OssMan 12-09-2020 10:38 AM

Fired up Onimusha for ps2 which I've had for like ten years and never touched, great little game beat it in like two days

I swear to God I'm getting close to just giving up on Marvel's Avengers. Every other God damn fucking day it seems like it needs to download another God damn fucking update. DON'T RELEASE SOMETHING IF YOU'RE NOT FUCKING DONE WITH IT!!! I GIVE ZERO FUCKS ABOUT ITS ONLINE FEATURES!!!

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-16-2020 01:45 PM

I just finished the main story of Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

By the end I was just looking to finish the main story rather than take down all the leaders and do all the various submissions, etc.

I need to decide what to play next; I'm going to leave Cyberpunk 2077 until it is less buggy. I've still yet to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance, even though I bought it a while ago, so I might start that.

Eklipse 12-16-2020 09:57 PM

Been playing the Unreal Tournament beta the past couple days. I like it.
On weekends I have my kids, I pretty much just play Fortnite with them.
And World of Warcraft.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-19-2020 11:52 AM

I just got mauled to death by a bear on The Long Dark; I was on day 7 in survival mode. I forgot to load my rifle, and paid the price.

RP 12-22-2020 07:23 PM

Has anyone played Resistance 3? It's literally one of the funnest games i've played for a bit.

Sepholio 12-22-2020 09:09 PM

Godfall. Said I was gonna wait for the discount bin but I got it 25 bucks off so meh, snagged it. Very pretty. But you can tell they focused on making this a tech showpeice. Fast loads, super detailed textures and lighting effects, character models with more polygons than you've ever seen. But it's shallow and repetitive. Dont get me wrong, the gameplay is actually rather good once you acclimate to how to stay focused on enemies without getting turned around or off target. Gotta lot of different systems running and different ways to kill enemies that make it engaging. But the core loop is run through this area, look around and loot stuff if you want, do objective, back to base. And theres 2 ppl at your base and they are the only people you interact with ever. The story is almost nonexistent. And while the areas are pretty you can only run around the same confusing level doing different missions but killing the same enemies and picking up the same treasures so many times, especially when you consider there is no map. I imagine I am somewhere around half way through the game at this point and honestly it would be great if they would give me a better reason for doing what I'm doing in game and add a couple more environments or something. And a map. As it is its just so so.

Sepholio 12-22-2020 09:12 PM

Another thing is if they just decide what they want this game to be and go with it. What I mean is that this game is ALMOST dark souls. It's just not quite hard enough and there is no penalty for death. But it's close to being there, real close. They either need to decide if this is a typical looter and maybe make it a smidge easier and increase enemy density or they need to increase the difficulty just a little and give it a death penalty and go forth as a soulsborne game. It's just stuck between two competing identities right now.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-23-2020 06:00 AM

I forgot that I have Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which I've never played, so instead of buying a new game for Xmas I will install that bad boy instead.

M-A-G 12-23-2020 02:39 PM

They added Donkey Kong Country 3 to the Switch's SNES library. I don't remember enjoying it as much as the first two but maybe all these years will add some perspective.

Helmsphere 12-23-2020 06:10 PM

Decided to start playing Ace Combat 7 last week. Just finished it. I hate how Ace Combat loves there flying into tunnels gimmick.

RP 12-24-2020 05:19 PM

I found Star Wars : The Force Unleashed on PS3 at Goodwill for 2 bucks. I've never played it. It looks good.

I enjoyed it. Theres one scene in particular that will always be one of my favorites from any game ever.

RP 12-25-2020 01:22 AM

i picked up Tomb Raider for 2 bucks too. I have about 50 or so PS3 games now. I'm pretty fond of my collection.

Destor 12-26-2020 12:27 AM

Xbox One : Elex
Switch : Final Fantasy 12
PC : Diabotical/COD WWII multiplayer.

Sepholio 12-28-2020 10:51 PM

I had a lot of fun with Elex.

Jordan 12-31-2020 09:45 AM

On Xbox One...

I've been playing UFC 4 nonstop. I really wish they'd update career mode with more features and depth. Still hoping.

I recently beat Jedi Order and loved it.

RP 12-31-2020 08:03 PM

I'm halfway through Resistance 3 and I love it so far. But i'm gonna take a break and play Dead Rising 2 tonight cause i want some mindess zombie bashing fun.

Sepholio 12-31-2020 08:07 PM

Moving on to Immortals Fenyx rising. GOTY just because it has allowed me to play as Finn from adventure time and I have jake as my pet and lady as my mount and that is just absolutely fantastic.
