it is funny near where I live Johnson city tn they have only done smackdown house shows there since wwe came back in 2001, when wcw went out. so I am glad smackdown always had the better wrestlers, the younger guys.

I appreciate you took the time to type that much out, but I don’t agree. A lot of those headlines and instances are made up (like The Rock one) or a very anamolous outlier. Education institutes in Australia are pretty liberal. That’s despite a conservative government that whinges about this sort of stuff all the time and just uses it as a smokescreen to continue pushing racist and phobic policies. Like, a lot of that stuff is just myth and when you research it. We get stories all the time like that over here, and you research it and it turns out no, people don’t really want anyone with earrings to be expelled or whatever.

Eh, I’m your own time, if these things upset you, I recommend really researching them and finding out whether or not that’s an actual thing that’s happening and what the actual scenario is and what is actually driving it. Like, is a professor being fired because of unreasonable students, or because they have been continuously asked to address students by their preferred names, etc., and received multiple warnings from a private institute. Is someone being criticised because they are wearing earrings, or because when they were explained why those earrings might not be appropriate for an event, they scoffed and wore them anyway? You’d be surprised how much is there to make valid points seem ridiculous.

It's an interesting take. The 2015 Rumble is when something snapped inside me. I realized then that they don't give a fuck and are just going to do whatever they want.

It does sound interesting but I'd lean more towards no since in terms of Good/Classic finale, Mania 17 or Mania 20 fits better based on how things went afterwards.

At the time, Mania XXX did feel like a "passing of the torch" and should have been from the Cena era and Taker Mania era but WWE just doubled down on their stubbornness that started with the Cena era.

Apparently the biggest and most influential supporter for WWE within NBC and USA Network was recently demoted by NBC.

Went from being the head of NBC to now just being in charge of their new digital streaming branch as part of a recent shakeup of leadership in the company.

I saw that story and honestly my first thought was that this is probably good for WWE, because they will probably eventually need to find a streaming service when cable dies.

I was reading somewhere about how tough Monday nights really are for television, and they suggested that if WWE weren’t so attached to Mondays, getting Raw onto Tuesdays would actually probably be a good move for them. I’ve never thought about that because I’ve never considered WWE being willing to do that.
