Like most things, it would take effort and good storytelling to pull off. But this is WWE. Those two things have been in short supply for awhile. They likely wouldn't even be able to pull off the angle I just proposed if they found an athletic powerlifter with an MMA background who was nearly the same size as Brock.

I honestly would be interested in seeing this match, if there was some actual story behind it. Even a half sell of the elbow by Brock would go a long way). Kind of like that whole Jeff Hardy/Undertaker match where Jeff kept grabbing a mic and saying "I'm not finished yet..." every time Taker left him for dead.

During the match, all the women gradually empty out of the back to watch from the stage/ramp. One or two might even try to come down and help her, and Sane just yells at them and makes them back off. At the end, of the time limit, she slowly gets up and steps back up to Brock and possibly even goes to shake his hand. Brock blows this off 100% and is all like "fuck this crazy bitch" and leaves. Kairi slowly moves to the back under her own steam, and all the girls start giving her an ovation except Bazler, who blocks her way. After a staredown, Shayna just gives a stern nod of respect, and steps out of Kairi's way to let her continue her way to the curtain. The whole thing would also need top-notch work from the booth, too.

While I am not particularly a fan of intergender wrestling, this was incredible.

From what I have seen, she was very green and a lot of other women ahead of her on the card. Probably better for her to work every weekend and come back in a couple years.....

Well that doesn’t mean it’s a) good or b) always believable in every circumstance. Two decades takes us back to 1999, where kayfabe was already dead and buried and the industry, as a whole, was about to head downhill for the longest time. Maybe some of those intergender matches were amazing and believable, but I don’t think it goes without saying.

It would be one thing if it was Brock Lesnar or some other big jacked up dude. Pentagon is not one of those guys. And Joshi stars are tough as nails. Never mind the three in the video are probably the best female workers in the world and legit better than most men.

Nothing wrong with those videos and Slick Damo’s response is straight overreaction, IMO.

It can be done with certain women vs certain men. I don't think there is a woman on Earth that would be believable in a match against Brock Lesnar though. Kairi Sane against him would be laughable. Kairi is definitely one of the women who could pull off an intergender match with the right opponent though. She could easily have a believable match against someone like Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Nakamura, etc.

I wouldn't mind them having a woman initiating a feud with a man. Would be an interesting time to have one play out considering current social trends. The woman would have to initiate the feud though and would have to be insistent that she is just as good as any man on the roster. The man would have to be extremely reluctant to engage in the feud at first and would be trying to avoid confrontation for a good while. Will need those things and a slow build in order to be able to gain enough traction without generating maximum social backlash or it will just die/get killed off early on.

It could be done though and I think it would be very interesting.

I don't disagree that it's possible in many circumstances. I don't think a blanket statement can be made either way. I can buy Kharma beating up James Ellsworth pretty easily. But should a James Ellsworth be in the business, you know?
