I don’t know how long the vision for cable is. AEW could very easily survive by just being cheap content on a dying platform. They’ll celebrate getting renewed like it’s winning the SuperBowl, even if there is no notable increase in their revenue despite their spending going through the roof.

They just signed Bandido and Juice Robinson. It’s not stopping.

I don’t think you can trust WBD either. They’ll change their mind on how they want to market TBS and TNT next week if they want to, and that’s their prerogative.

AEW has had almost 4 years to get big enough to be more of a heavyweight. Whatever happens to them is kind of their fault.
