Iron Giant 9/10

Emotional movie

7/10.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! THIS movie fucking kicked ass so bad Tarantino's wet dream came to life and he could've thought of this idea before..

Lots of nudity, satanic sex rituals, plus a sidekick chick that can fucking kick more asses as much as Cherry Darling minus the machine gun parts. :p

Yes, it was feeling Ghost Rider cos literally this dad just went out of hell to save his baby daughter from sacrificial to Satanists red neck people.

I also enjoyed The Accountant as the devil's right hand man.. He's like Agent Smith too! Some cool Matrix moves and he even does the Harvey Dent coin flipping and everytime he does that when police show up, the coin literally fell back to his hand and VOILA A MAGIC FBI ID CARD!!!! Pretty cool devil trick eh?

I hate to admit this, but it's on the same coolness level as Tarantino's double Grindhouse flicks.

Amber Heard is fucking hot too!!

XL 03-01-2011 09:13 AM

I don't think I'd get on with you.

Evil Dead 1 and Army Of Darkness
10/10 for both..

Number 2 wasn't really that good. but has a shit load of gore in it :D

PorkSoda 03-01-2011 09:02 PM

I love Army of Darkness. I also love the BOOMSTICK!

Takers - 4/10.

The script/acting was terrible, the story wasn't bad, action scenes were alright. T.I is a bad actor. He speaks very broken English. Why? He's not from Japan. He's not Mr. Fuji. So why does he slur his words and not finish the words he says? He talk li diss and axe-pect uhs da understand him.

The Fighter - 3/10

Would of preferred them to have touched on the Gatti rivalry, considering thats the only thing Micky Ward was famous for. H8 Christian Bale so bad also.

Fuck this film, so mad rite nw.

Xmen Origins: Wolverine

6/10

Really liked this movie, except the fact they didnt get Tyler Mane to play Sabertooth again and got a russian mobster as a standin. Would have been an 8/10 otherwise.

Droford 03-04-2011 01:38 AM

The Last Excorcism 6/10

I was doing ok with this movie up until the last 10 minutes, and then I was like, way to completely screw this movie up for the sake of a "shock" ending.

Yeah, what the fuck with casting Schreiber as Sabretooth?

Jeritron 03-06-2011 04:04 AM

Hall Pass 7/10

Not that great, but not nearly as bad as the reviews made it out to be. Pretty shock/raunch humor but effective.
Some good laughs. In fact, one scene may have been the hardest I've laughed in a movie theater since high school, tbh.

The rest was kinda meh. The first half did the job, but then it got a little boring.

Loose Cannon 03-06-2011 11:18 AM

The Social Network: 8/10

Movie was pretty ejoyable, even though I've read half of if was made up. It was like the real story of facebook with the volume turned way up. I thought the acting was really good and liked how they bounced back from the past and present.

Karate Kid (Jackie Chan version): 7/10

I tried to watch this without having to compare it to the original, but it was tough when they used some of the same things/scenes from the original. It was a good movie though. Chan and Smith were really good together. Loved the part when Smith realized why Chan had him do all the "hang jacket up" and he starts doing the karate moves. Those bad kids were no Corba Kai though. Johhny Lawrence would of wiped the floor with them.

The Town 9.5/10

Loved this one. I enjoyed the whole setting of the movie in Charlestown, MA. Any movies that are set in and around Boston, NY, NJ, I can realate more to so I usually enjoy them more. Ben Aflek and his best friend in the movie were excellent in thier roles. The ending was amazing.

Inglourious Basterds - 3.5 out of 5

The pace felt too slow for most of the film but the final 1/3 of the film was great.

Animal Kingdom 8.5/10

Faster - 3/10.

I only cared about the storyline with The Rock getting his revenge. The other subplots were stupid, especially about the dude getting married. That was irrelevant.

Leave your brain at the door shoot em up mindless violence.

I really hated the first 20 minutes and was about to turn it off, but when John Travolta showed up looking like Ming the Merciless I was hooked.

Royale with Cheese :D

From Paris With Love | 79/100
  • Straight forward without much to get in the way. I thought Travolta's character was gonna be one of those assholes that you hate but can understand that his behavior is a necessary evil but he turns out to be caring and likable. It's probably the only role I liked him in from his recent movies. With a little polish and some tweaks this movie could have received a much higher rating from me. Another quality title to be featured on Luc Besson's list of quality films.

After.Life 8/10

Very interesting movie, which involves a naked Christina Ricci through many parts of it, so that alone made me watch.

However, the plot was pretty insane, one of those flicks that leaves you guessing.

Seth82 03-12-2011 01:27 AM

watched 127 Hours starring James Franco

I thought it was fantastic and the cinematography was amazing

gotta give it a 9/10

Fox 03-12-2011 12:09 PM

The Green Hornet: 6/10
- I expect more out of Michel Gondry after "Eternal Sunshine." Rogen was good but maybe he was miscast as the Hornet... I couldn't take him seriously at all as a superhero. The guy who played Kato was great and Cameron Diaz is still hot. The main bad guy is incredibly underwhelming though. James Franco and the little kid John Connor make cameos and are awesome in them but unfortunately both of them die too fast for my liking.

127 Hours: 8/10
- Excellent cinematography and acting by Franco. Danny Boyle's work is usually really good and this was no exception. I really felt for the guy trapped down there, so it was very effective.

True Grit: 10/10
- Fucking amazing. I don't usually care for Westerns but this was an incredible movie. The little girl is unbelievable and Jeff Bridges is fantastic as the bad ass US Marshall. The only thing I didn't really care for much was Matt Damon as a Texas Ranger as I felt he was hamming it up a little bit, but Josh Brolin as the redneck killer guy more than made up for it. Awesome movie.

- Tron Legacy: 4/10
I would rather cut my own balls off than watch this movie again. I'm sure the 3D was brilliant in theaters but 3D and special effects don't make a good movie - they should accentuate what is already a good movie. Fuck this shit.

Finally caught this shit on local cable TV.

3/10.. Fucking hahahahah. Hollywood always love to Americanize japanese anime characters. Sadly, the cartoon anime characters are more 3-d than the REAL LIVE 2-D actors. I feel bad for Chow Yun Fat considering some of his early movies are always bad-ass kung fu action flicks.

Fox 03-17-2011 11:35 PM

Due Date: 7/10

I saw this in theaters months ago and hated it. Maybe I was just tired. I got a great bootleg in Belize, Mexico and rewatched it again and have to say that I was wrong after my first viewing (where I probably would've given it like a 4/10). It's not the slapstick crazy humor, like The Hangover, that I expected, but it is a great script and RDJ is very good in it. The plot gets a little weak toward the end, but some of the moments really are played up brilliantly.

Sanctum - 8/10

Rottentomatoes has given this a rotten rating, somewhere like 35%. I don't really understand why. Sure there are no top billed actors in it and the actors who are in it can be a big cheesy at times, but it accomplishes that it sets out to accomplish. My worst fear is drowning, so I naturally have this strange attraction to movies where the biggest challenge for the characters is NOT drowning. The movie is tense when it needs to be, pretty brutal in certain points, and the father/son storyline does a good job of driving the thing all the way home. I can only imagine it was an even better experience in 3D.
