Stallworth was also not completely at fault for killing the guy... he had been drinking but if a guy runs in front of your car sober or drunk, your still probably going to kill him. He got out of his car immediately and was helping the guy and got tagged for the dui after the cops decided to check him out and they went after him very hard. On top of the jail time he did more than he was sentenced to in terms of community service and stuff like that.

I'm saying this to EVERYONE here - Show me ANY bit of solid proof that Ben did anything wrong, and I'll relent. This country was founded on "innocent until proven guilty."

Let me preface my comments by saying I don't give a shit about what Roethlisberger did or didn't do.

Now, I'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt the first time. Ben was accused twice. Could they be false accusations? Sure, I suppose. Regardless, the fact that he was in that situation not once, but twice, is questionable at the very least. That's people's perceptions. It doesn't matter if he was convicted criminally, he is guilty by some in the court of public opinion. Is it fair? Maybe not, but then again, don't put yourself in compromising situations.

I'll admit that I don't remember much about the Reno case, but put yourself in Ben's shoes in the Georgia incident - a girl follows you around all night from bar to bar, hitting on you repeatedly. She wears a nametag that states she is "Down to Fuck". As a heterosexual male - Wouldn't you?

When I look at this situation, I ask myself, "Why was Ben even in this situation?" He didn't get convicted criminally in the first case, and won't in the second either. But I ask why he was even there? An 18 and over bar? What the fuck? That's the problem with the whole thing. What does that look like to the general public? There is going to be a significant amount of people who are going to look at that and conclude he is guilty, whether he is technically convicted or not. It's going to be something that will stick with him. It will probably disappear in time, but for now, it's here.
