TNA wrestler Austin Aries (Dan Solwold) has been "severely fined," according to a TMZ report, following Aries "crotching" Christy Hemme during last Thursday's Impact episode. TNA is not disclosing the amount of the fine for Solwold's unscripted action.

Also, TMZ reports that Solwold reached out to Hemme and "privately apologized," while acknowledging that he crossed the line of playing a heel.

There was no indication of when Solwold reached out to Hemme, though. This relates to Solwold tweeting remarks Sunday night that were dismissive of Hemme calling his actions "unacceptable" on Twitter.

There is also no indication of when TNA implemented the fine. TNA president Dixie Carter tweeted Tuesday night that the incident with Aries "was taken very seriously and handled immediately." Whether "immediately" means last Thursday night after the incident or later on as more people drew attention to the incident is unclear due to the inconsistent timeline.

Heisenberg 05-16-2013 05:49 PM

Dixie probably cornered Aries backstage and exposed her breasts to him to make him suffer the same harassment he made Hemme endure. Poor(lucky) man

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-16-2013 05:53 PM

What's with your obsession with Dixie Carter?

Watching Main Event, and I'm confused. The Shield can put away Ryback, Kane, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Sheamus, Orton, Big Show...

...but The Usos scare them off?

Volare 05-16-2013 09:49 PM

Their Wardance is some heavy shit man.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-16-2013 09:49 PM

They are Samoan. I wouldn't want to mess with them. Roman Reigns letting his cousins off with a stern warning. BelieveIntheShield.

Lock Jaw 05-16-2013 10:01 PM

Who are you to doubt The Usos?

Maybe Rollins or Ambrose don't want to take the risk of randomly getting run over by a car in the future. Reigns should be safe since he's related to both Rikishi and The Rock.

Mr. Nerfect 05-16-2013 11:53 PM

I think it would make great character for Roman Reigns to explain how he has even laid waste to family members because he believes in The Shield so much.

I'm thinking about starting up a "better matches" series on TPWW, kinda like Better Wrestler, but with matches instead. I'll post up vids to the matches and shit. Anyone interested? Or should I pass? I'll try to come up with an Adamle Original name too, just figured I'd post the basics and see if yall were interested :y:

We are in the PG era in the wrestling forum CSL, love the pic though. NSFW that so the site can be legit for stuff.

Couple of us missed your chokeslams and company/friendship

Mr. Nerfect 05-17-2013 09:12 PM

Brock will win at Extreme Rules. I can see Heyman getting a new client at some point soon too. I don't think Brock should need any help, but I could see the WWE protecting Triple H for some reason.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-17-2013 09:20 PM

CSL, you missed a lot. I turned heel and joined Team Gorm.

Woooo rasslin

#TeamGorm

CSL 05-17-2013 09:26 PM

I'd like to think owenbrown had a nervous breakdown as a result

Corporate CockSnogger 05-17-2013 09:30 PM

I've been aiming to take Team Gorm onto bigger things. Now that they finally have a main eventer in the ranks, it's time to reach for the top.

I seem to remember loving Lesnar on Smackdown years ago especially with Angle but has he ever really been able to cut a promo?
why can i remember jobbers from years ago but complete mind wipe for that era

Mr. Nerfect 05-17-2013 11:52 PM

SmackDown was awesome under Paul Heyman's rule. I don't even remember watching RAW. I do remember little things happening here and there, but SmackDown was just stealing the show.

If you spaced out reading that last paragraph, imagine how the average WWE viewer felt. I had dozed off briefly before the show and when I woke up to this, I thought I was still dreaming. I rubbed my eyes and checked Twitter to make sure I was seeing what everybody else was seeing. This was the last episode of Raw before the Extreme Rules pay-per-view — this was the go-home show — and they were leading off with a dance-off? How the hell did we get here?

Interesting article. I think Extreme Rules will turn out to be a really good show. I'm actually not as certain as everyone else that Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns will be walking out WWE Tag Team Champions though. Once The Shield beat Team Hell No who is there left for them to face? Team Hell No? I have no doubt that Rollins & Reigns will eventually win the titles from Kane & Daniel Bryan, but I could actually kind of see them losing to them at Extreme Rules to give the fans a glimmer of hope that The Shield can be stopped.

Dean Ambrose would also look good as the only member of The Shield holding championship gold (for the time being). All three just suddenly having belts might be jarring to some casual fans. Have Ambrose beat Kofi Kingston in what turns out to be an impromptu Ladder Match (ordered by Teddy Long to continue the "he's making big decisions he perhaps shouldn't" angle) after The Shield help him out. Kofi Kingston attacks Dean Ambrose and takes him out of the equation for the Tornado Tag later. Things are crazy in the tag, as you can imagine, and it looks like Reigns is going for the kill on Daniel Bryan with the Spear, but Kane tosses Seth Rollins into it and Reigns Spears his buddy. Kane then big boots the surprised Reigns, which knocks him into The "NO!" Lock from Daniel Bryan. Kane Chokeslams Rollins for good measure and Reigns is forced to tap out.

The Shield talk about regrouping in the following weeks. Kofi Kingston teams with Team Hell No against The Shield and Reigns manages to pin Kofi Kingston with a Spear in that match. Ambrose beats Kingston with his headlock driver finisher on a Main Event or a SmackDown to retain the US Title cleanly and put an end to that dispute. Reigns & Rollins continue to team together and beat Epico & Primo one week and then Tons of Funk another. Team Hell No vs. The Shield is confirmed again for Payback, which is where Reigns & Rollins manage to win their first championship together. Ambrose can defend the US Title against Chris Jericho or something, if he is available. It'd be Jericho chasing the only title he hasn't held in his WWE career, and Ambrose vs. Jericho is sure to be a good match.
