Hope Fandango wins a title before he is released or retired.... His IC title run went to Axel when he got concussed.

Seth being logical again

SI: There's a rumor that at WrestleMania, it's going to be Roman Reings vs. The Rock. When you hear that, what's the first thing that pops into your head?

SR: I’d like it to be Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins.

SI: What about Seth Rollins vs. The Rock?

SR: That’s cool, too. Don’t get me wrong. I love Rocky. I think he’s great. Love everything he’s done for this business. But my gut, my first instinct, says we don’t need him. We don't need him. If we’re not the guys who can main event WrestleMania, then how are we ever gonna be The Rock? How are we gonna be Stone Cold Steve Austin? We can’t hold onto these guys forever. We just can’t. To me, let’s do Seth Rollins-Roman Reigns before we do Seth Rollins-The Rock. That's me.

SI: But do you see how it's good for business to bring in that Rock audience or do you not care?

SR: I see that perspective 100 percent. I get it. There’s nothing wrong with growing, getting bigger and putting more eyes on your product. I totally understand that. I get it. But at some point, we gotta move on from that.

Splaya 08-16-2018 01:29 PM

Seth basically saying what 95% of the guys in the back think.

With that said, I hope this is a work interview

Roman V Rock :nono:

Rock V Seth

#1-norm-fan 08-16-2018 01:31 PM

The problem isn't that they keep bringing in guys like The Rock to main event. It's the fact that they can't build guys to main event in the first place. Just throwing two guys who aren't massively over in the main event of WrestleMania doesn't suddenly make them stars. It's backwards. The work has to be done the other 11 months out of the year. They fail on that front, so bringing in someone who's massively over to main event WrestleMania is the only way to go.

Ric Flair won his first title at about 26 years old.

The spot where Dolph straddles one ladder and does the Shelton Benjamin spot to get on another ladder had the crowd pop huge

Recent rumor going around the net hints at someone (WWE, Warrior estate, etc) has been quietly white washing Warrior's bigoted past from the internet.

Deadspin's David Bixenspan noticed this when he was doing some work for an upcoming podcast episode.

Someone has clearly made a move to whitewash Warrior’s crazy racist shit from the internet. Seems WWE is still worried about Jason Jordan's neck injury to the point they are starting to groom him for a possible backstage role instead. Same for Matt Hardy now that his current injury situation changed for the worse.

There is talk of him shadowing producers which is basically learning the ropes there with the possibility of that being his future. Jason Jordan has been doing the same thing of late since he has had issues coming off his neck surgery. Hardy will be undergoing treatment for his different injuries and after he goes through that process, a decision will be made as far as whether he can return and in what type of a schedule or capacity

Mr. Nerfect 08-17-2018 04:04 AM

A shame if it is the end for Jason Jordan.

Rammsteinmad 08-17-2018 07:45 AM

Even more a shame for Matt Hardy. Guy is such an underrated "legend" of the sport, in my opinion. I'd love it if he could continue his WOKEN thing, or even go BROKEN if he is retiring due to injury, and be an on-screen character. Maybe lead a stable or be a mouthpiece for Brother Nero or something.

Aw whatever. He'll probably appreciate not having to wrestle anymore and probably spend more time off the road.

Mr. Nerfect 08-17-2018 08:04 AM

Eh, it's been almost a decade since I've given a shit about Matt Hardy. I used to be one of his biggest fans, but his Fatt Hardy years and the Broken/Woken rubbish jumped the shark with me.

I caught a bit of Jordan right before he got injured and was impressed

You sound like you're happy he's injured, Noid. Cool

I absolutely hate the gimmick. It reflects how stupid everything is, and how they don't have any standard they need to keep, haha. You don't have an option but to just deal with him being Kurt Angle's son, haha. But he's got a fucking motor on him and looks like a million bucks.

Bad News Gertner 08-17-2018 09:27 AM

I saw him and Rollins on the Peep Show on Raw 25. Jordan was getting some great heat.

When you haven't watched WWE is a while, it's jarring to see how unnatural everyone is, haha. Those promos are fucking awful. Christian steals the scene just by standing there.

I don't know why they don't use Christian in an active speaking role in the company. Always wanted to hear him as a color commentator after hearing him trade barbs with JBL. But I guess being a manager or hosting a talking segment he'd probably overshadow too many guys.

Seth Rollins sounds so unnatural. "Yo, hi, wassup, I'm here, yo." Jason Jordan isn't much better, but he's a lot newer and it was at least funny how he played to the crowd. Sheamus is fine with his cadence and tone, but the whole high school yard-talk thing means anyone is going to sound awful. "We don't just set the bar...we ARE the bar! Ha ha ha ha" Fuck off. Cesaro doing a dramatic swipe of his glasses to get them off at the right moment in the ring. It's so off-putting and I don't know how they ever expect to make a new fan with acting so bad.
