Just watched the Kingston vs Cesaro match from Main Event... If they are souring on Antonio, they are fucking crazy. The things this guy does are amazing... The single leg giant swing, the second rope superplex from the apron, even getting flipped when trying to do the Neutralizer and landing on his feet. He has the size, he has the look, and he's amazing in the ring.

They need to push him as the heel who isn't afraid of people (sort of like Lesnar, but smaller, and Lesnar won't be around long anyway.)

Come on.

He needs a mouthpiece.

I feel like Cesaro is getting the Sheamus treatment. Remember when Sheamus went from being a bad-ass no-nonsense monster to wearing a goofy cape and crown? He lost a lot of matches during that run, but he "passed the test" and came out the other side a genuine main eventer. I feel like this is Cesaro's "let's see if he cracks" phase.

Might be possible, though I don't share your optimism of WWE. :( Lets just hope you're right cause I'd hate to see Cesaro get future endeavored down the line.

He speaks 5 languages. He needs no mouth piece. He just needs something interesting to say by the writers or just let him wing it.

I think you're reading too much into it. Seemingly every guy goes through the same upper-midcard push and then drifts aimlessly for a while afterward. I don't think they're testing him. I think the writers just have ADD and can't focus on pushing more than a few people at once and it leads to everyone getting pushed and de-pushed repeatedly.

Going to great lengths to escape that cage with Benoit. He must have seen the future.

He is decently charismatic when he's just being himself. THe video WWE released online when he was just sight seeing in the city and talking to people was greatness. Some of his online videos from ROH were good too. When he's being himself, he's pretty great (and he's pretty witty too).

Also, he should bring back the "Very European" schtick. Better than a straight anti-America one, and way better than yodeling.

that Superplex spot is impressive. Cesaro is amazing and deserves far better than yodelling.

I wasn't into Cesaro that much until he tossed Miz around like a ragdoll.

I love Main Event.

The set and the focus on the "bubbling under the main event" scene is a nice blend of old school booking and atmosphere.

I wish they could make the mid-upper midcard scene seem as important on the main shows.
