There’s no reason to even have hope that things will improve as long as Vince has the final sign off on everything that goes on camera. I don’t know which writer pitched a DQ finish in a Hell in a Cell to him but that he decided to green light it shows how useless he’s become as a quality control guy.

the only thing I would have done different was, after the ref calls the dq and the cage goes up and the paramedics come in, cut the lights and have the fiend disappear

FFS, Bray shouldn't have been in the title picture yet. But even so, they should have just pulled the trigger at the end and had him win it. It doesn't give you an unbeatable champ because they could always have him lose the title as regular Bray for whatever made up reason if they so chose. UHHHG

Vince honestly just missed a huge shot. When the crowd started chanting to restart the match Vince should have marched out there and done just that with something along the lines of "You cant DQ him for that jack ass, get me a new ref and ring the damn bell!"

If I'm FOX, I would be scratching Rollins name off of potential top talent for Smackdown at the Draft since the last thing they need is any of this Hell in a Cell stink carrying over to their show. Same for demanding WWE break their couples rule in order to get just Becky for the brand.
If I'm USA Network, probably a bit livid at the disaster of what happened since they paid more for RAW than FOX did for Smackdown and are getting treated like shit a week into the new deals. |
