King Buzzo - This Machine Kills Artists
9-10 How the fuck do you take an Acoustic Guitar and make it heavy? Then again, this is the front man of the Melvins, who helped pioneer Grunge and Sludge Metal. He does whatever the hell he WANTS to do. |

Red is a classic, even if I only ever listened to it once.
|
I have to say, you can really hear how Tool and bands like Sleepytime Gorilla Museum have been influenced by King Crimson. When you listen to Frame by Frame on Discipline, you can hear the kind of intricate interplay that Tool have in their songs, and on One More Red Nightmare, off Red, you can hear where SGM stole their sound.

I really like it, but something stops me from giving it a 9 or more. I'm definitely going to buy his other self-titled albums and So. |
Jaz Coleman & London Philharmonic Orchestra- Pink Floyd Symphonic-
10/10 Absolutely fucking gorgeous. If you have any love for Pink Floyd at all, get this shit now. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/MoPqxz_G3TM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

I disagree with your Slayer rating. I'm not a fan of that one 6/10 at best. Totally agree with the other rating though. Spot on. It's good to listen to while preparing chutney to go with the curry and Naan bread

Still good, and still a blast to listen to Florence sing, but on the first spin, no songs really stuck out the way the tracks on previous albums did. Maybe I just need to relisten to it, but at the moment it's their weakest outing so far. But like I said, still well worth a listen if you liked their previous stuff. |

Dear El Vaq, do you (like) listen to music exclusively or in the background?
|
What now?
|
Do you take out the time to listen to music exclusively or do you listen to it while attending other matters :?:
|
A bit of both. At the moment most of my listening is while I'm travelling back and forth to work, which usually takes around an hour each way on the bus.
