Fignuts 10-02-2009 10:26 PM

God forbid someone doesn't get into sf 4.

Kalyx triaD 10-02-2009 10:32 PM

You're all losers.

Fignuts 10-02-2009 10:34 PM

You didn't like COD 4. Blow me.

Funky Fly 10-03-2009 02:43 AM

Fuck me. Cody? Really? Lame. Plus, originally he was supposed to be Joe from SF1, but they changed him last minute. I'd actually prefer Eagle From SF1/Capcom vs SNK 2.

Fignuts 10-03-2009 02:49 AM

Dude it was from gamefaqs.

That post has zero credibility.

Fignuts 10-03-2009 02:50 AM

There has been a rumor floating around that Dudley is one of the characters, but it's still just a rumor.

Funky Fly 10-03-2009 02:51 AM

That would be fucking awesome tho.

Fignuts 10-03-2009 02:54 AM

I would be kind of upset that dudley was in, instead of Alex/Yun&Yang/Oro/Elena

I wouldn't say it's impossible for the GameFAQS post to be correct. Yes, it's unlikely but with IGN saying certain character which are on the list could be in, it could happen.
It's just rumours for now and as long as people remember that, there is no harm in speculating.

Dudley >>>>>> the rest of those chumps.

Kalyx triaD 10-03-2009 07:23 PM

If that list was legit I'd be happy. None of the additions were 'my' characters but I do have my eye on Juri. Other than that, more the merrier.

If only Karin was in, though...

Drakul 10-04-2009 01:34 AM

There is always DLC and/or the next version of SFIV.

Kalyx triaD 10-04-2009 01:09 PM

This is the last version, I'm betting.

redoneja 10-10-2009 10:45 PM

Just dusted this off and put it in the ol PS3 yesterday when some of my boys came down to visit. I forgot how fun this game was. I am insanely bad though. Like, I'm really good within the circle of people I'm playing, but I'm confident anyone online would murder me. Been tearing it as Zangief, Sakura, and Dhalsim.

Kalyx triaD 10-10-2009 10:47 PM

Stick with Sakura. She's awesome.

redoneja 10-10-2009 11:07 PM

Yea I'm really liking her, Zangief, and Dhalsim, depending who I use them against. I am absolutely terrible with charge based fighters. I have absolutely no idea how to pull off a super or an ultra with a charge based guy. Not that those are the main focus of my game, but it would be nice to do it if I needed to.

Kalyx triaD 10-10-2009 11:16 PM

Most matches end without Supers so you're good.

Drakul 10-11-2009 04:31 AM

After being defeated in the SFIV Tournement, I started playing the game again. I know it would make more sense to play it while I was still in the tournement but it's just the way it worked out.
Anyway, I've been playing as Fei Long and Cammy a little bit and I think I'm finally getting used to Fei Long. I've got Cammys Cannon Spike and her other "Cannon" move which I forget the name of. It used to be Cannon Drill but they changed it for some reason. I can't remember her other move. Where she rolls through the air and then hurricanranas the opponent.

I had a pretty awesome ranked match as Zangief (as usual) against a Sagat. The guy didn't spam at all and he managed to pull the best out of me. Both rounds where pretty close. I won Round 1 when he crouched, waiting for me to come closer. I walked towards him, he went for a Tiger Uppercut. I stepped back, he missed and I got the round with Zangiefs Ultra.
I won round 2 when he had me cornered, I managed to bat him away, he attempts Tiger Destruction as I charge a Focus Attack and let it go just before he makes contact, Knocking him out. It may not sound "epic" but the actual fight was pretty intense. Winning that match also got me my " Win 10 Ranked Matches in a Row" achievement. 50G

Kalyx triaD 10-11-2009 04:55 PM

Kalyx triaD 10-12-2009 12:04 AM

Funky Fly 10-12-2009 12:50 AM

I am so ridiculously in a slump, it's amazing. Have not won a fight the last 3 times I played. What the fuck?

Kalyx triaD 10-16-2009 04:44 AM

For Gouken's sake, Mackem, put Super in front of the thread title. It's killing here!

Drakul 10-18-2009 01:03 AM

That date sounds a little close to the RDR 'likely' release date. I don't think I could spare the cash for both SSFIV and RDR. Unless someone actually employs me before then. Then I could probably pick them both up.
If I had to chose one, it would be RDR.

Anyway, is there any idea when another character will be revealed? Are they doing a reveal monthly or just whenever they feel like it? If there is only 8 new characters, they can reveal a new one each month leading up to release. I'm hoping/thinking we could actually get 10 new characters. I also want to know what bonus rounds we'll see. I'm sure we'll get the car one and I'm interested in seeing the new intro/endings for each characters.

I was playing through arcade mode with...I think Fei Long and his ending showed
SPOILER: show
him talking to Seth and then Seth gets a ninja spike thing thrown at his back out of nowhere. It wasn't explained who threw it. Maybe it relates to Juri?

Also, pointless info on the making of Abels characters:

Try and figure out which new character in Street Fighter IV started off as an effeminate little French boy, if you're Abel.

There I go, giving away the punch line. Yes, Street Fighter IV's muscle-bound French fighter Abel might have wound up a small boy with pigtails, according to the game's battle planner Taisaku Okada, who commented on the original design in a post on the Japanese SFIV website. As translated by Andriasang.com:

"With Abel, we wanted to make someone representative of 'the weak can beat the strong,' and so he was originally a small judo character who could be mistaken for a girl."

I would have preferred the smaller look to the one Capcom eventually went with, but then I've always been fond of smaller characters kicking the crap out of bigger ones.

Along with the more feminine Abel, the developer post also takes a look at the difficulties of maintaining character appearance in the newer game, Honda's skeletal structure, and raging staff fights over Street Fighter IV's art direction. It's all in Japanese, so make sure to bring along your closest squiggly-reading friend.

I prefer what they eventually went for with Abel. This character looks ok, I guess, but maybe it's better used as a whole other character. A few people, in the comments, are pointing out that it's clearly a little girl and are saying the Japanese don't seem to understand how adrogyny works.

It looks more like concept art for Juri, to me.

Initially, franchise producer Yoshinori Ono thought the next iteration of Street Fighter, landing just a year after the release of Street Fighter IV, should get a new number. Maybe not five, but perhaps 4.9.

But Capcom thought that might be too confusing and instead slapped the game with a Super, leap-frogging over Championship and Hyper Fighting editions, said Capcom Community Manager Seth Killian.

While the new game, due out early next year, will include a host of back-end improvements, about eight new characters, new stages, moves and gameplay modes, Capcom is still debating whether to sell the game for the traditional price of console titles or a lower price, Killian said.

Like its inevitable price, the changes and upgrades brought with Super Street Fighter IV are very fan driven.

"This is the most fan-responsive game in Capcom's history," Killian said.

Changes to the game will include balancing tweaks, but at least one famously irritating character won't be made easier to take on, he'll be made harder.

"Seth will be even cheaper and more irritating," Killian said.

And end-boss Seth won't be the only one to get some tweaks, some of the existing characters will get new moves. Killian mentioned Ken as one character who will have something new in Super, though he said it wouldn't be as radical as introducing new techniques like parries.

While Killian wouldn't go into the details of the new online modes that will be introduced with Super Street Fighter IV, he did say that Capcom is very aware of the complaint gamers have about not being able to hang-out in online rooms watching people play one another online.

"That is one of the things we will try to address," he said.

Super will also include a new set of stories for each of the characters, both the original 25 and the eight new characters. This time round the animation will not be done by Studio 4°C, he said.

Capcom declined to let me play the game, though I was able to watch Killian play and he showed off some of the signature moves of the new characters, including returning fighter T. Hawk.

From what I saw the character's animation, including their focus attacks, blended nicely with the existing game's aesthetic.

http://kotaku.com/5385868/capcom-set...eet-fighter-iv

Nothing new but Seth will be cheaper. I'm wondering how everyone will react to that.

BTW, Championship Mode in SFIV is more or less dead. Been trying to get a match in there all week pretty regularly and only managed to get 2 or 3. A lot of the time it comes up saying there is no one there.

Kalyx triaD 10-20-2009 04:29 PM

I don't care if Seth is cheaper, I'll easy mode his ass for the end cutscenes. Good thing we don't need to unlock any characters this time.

And Ryu's gay.

Ok Kalyx like we were talking about last week I broke down and bought this last night for $17 (including shipping) off Amazon. I put my faith in you on this one.

Kalyx triaD 10-23-2009 10:06 AM

That's a damn fine 17$ spent, I promise.

DaveBrawl 10-23-2009 10:17 AM

Until I fight my first round with Vega and get my face kicked in.

I was surprised at the price though, you were spot on about it coming down to about as low as as recent 360/PS3 game seems to get.

Kalyx triaD 10-23-2009 10:18 AM

People who play fighting expecting to win aren't realistic about their competition. You have to accept loses.

DaveBrawl 10-23-2009 10:20 AM

Oh I fully expect it, I haven't played a Street Fighter game since the mid 90s and even then I wasn't very good.

Kalyx triaD 10-23-2009 10:58 AM

Then this is a good time to get into the engine. Check out the trials and challenges, they'll get you versed in some mechanics. And you should be ranked against players of your level.

DaveBrawl 10-23-2009 11:06 AM

Cool, thanks.

DaveBrawl 10-30-2009 07:56 AM

Ok Kalyx I have two questions. What would be a good character for me to get into using? I'm experimenting with them all, but I'll lay out my play style so hopefully you can give me some direction. Is Fei Long unlockable in this? He's listed in the credits so I figure maybe he would be a good choice if he's in it.

Ok this should be an indicator of my current level of play. The game finally came in the Wednesday night and I gave it a play through with Zangief. On easiest mode it took me 2 or 3 times to beat Abel to get to the boss and another 4-5 times to beat Seth. Haven't had a chance to play since then so I haven't got a lock on anyone yet.

I love Vega as a character but I hate charge moves (never have been able to use them consistantly or with any kind of success) and I likely need someone with good defense right now so that kind of rules him out. Zangief's moves mostly require the full stick rotation which most times ends up with me jumping and getting juggled straight to a big loss of energy.

I eventually gave up on moves with Zangief and just started using strikes, which barely got me by Chung Li . So outside of Ryu and Ken, who it seems everybody use, who do you think a good starting point would be? Sagat? When I was little I always imagined he was the cheap fighter to use because he looked like he was so good that it would be too easy to win with him. Not really at that point anymore, I'll take any easy win I can get, but that was probably just perception anyway. I haven't tried him out yet, though because like I said earlier I haven't given anyone outside of Zangief much play time.

- I know it's a cliche choice but you really should start with Ryu/Ken. They have basic standards and specials that will help you learn the engine of the game before you learn the gimmick of a specific character. Basically you need to learn Street Fighter 4 before you learn Vega or somebody. However, if you like Vega, stick with him and learn his ass. Playing as characters you like is better than choosing by tiers (gay).

- Charge characters are more complicated than motions. But the idea is the charge characters have better standard attacks than motion characters. Do Vega's standing Roundhouse(Fierce Kick) and you'll see it's actually a free anti-air attack. His Fierce Punch also has great range and his backflips (PPP, KKK) dodge everything.

- BUT as far as charge moves go, and even 360 motions, you must learn buffering. Buffering commands is inputing the motion of a command during other actions. You need to charge back or down with Vega, right? I'm betting you catch yourself crouching or walking backward during a fight, limiting your movement while you ready a move. It doesn't have to be like this. When Vega is jumping (forward or backward) or doing an attack, why not hold back or down while it happens? When the attack is over the charge is done and you just hit forward/up+button and it will seen like you didn't have to limit your movement for a charge. When holding down for his leap attacks, notice his Sweep slides, use it to move forward while charging down. OR just arbitrarily press fierce punch a few times to throw off your opponent while you ready a leap attack. The key for charge characters is to stay busy while charging. All this requires you getting used to buffring commands. With 'Gief, you can do a 360 spin while executing certain attacks (namely the glowing hand).

DaveBrawl 10-30-2009 03:21 PM

Thanks, I'm gonna try that.

Some new info on SSFIV

Quote:

The upcoming SSFIV is bringing back the Street Fighter bonus stages of yore: car destruction.
The latest issue of Famitsu confirms the car wrecking bonus stages in Super Street Fighter IV. There's also a barrel bonus stage, too.

Other details about the game include info about online play:

• Team Battle is from 2-on-2 up to 4-on-4.
• Replay Channel allows players to watch match, well, replays.
• Endless Battle allows up to 8 players to compete in a knock-out tournament.

There are plans to include a "Tournament Mode" as an additional download.

Sounds good. Wonder what else will be revealed. I'm still waiting on character reveals, myself.
On the subject of new characters, I read an article that said Juri was going to be an ice skater at one point, then they considered making her an old woman and even a "chubby girl" until they eventually settled on what we have now. Also, they increased her bust size from 73cm/30 inches to 83cm/33 inches. They want her to come across as "bad and erotic".

Kalyx triaD 11-04-2009 11:45 PM

This game will fucking own me. TPWW's gonna have a sequel tourny. Next time I co-host.

Drakul 11-04-2009 11:50 PM

We had a replay channel before as a download but it was useless. It would be cool if we could save a replay of any fight we had and send the replay to friends.
That way, if we had another tourny, we could just show the actual fight rather than just typing the details.

With 2 on 2, do you think we could have online tag matches? A tag tourny would be cool.

Kalyx triaD 11-05-2009 09:37 AM

I doubt there will be tag, doesn't fit the engine. Most likely we're looking at team elimination, which is fine by me.

Funky Fly 11-05-2009 03:59 PM

Yeah, tag system works better in 3d engines, IMO.

RoXer 11-05-2009 04:01 PM

Was just going to post that video. Don't suppose anyone can read Japanese, can they?

Kalyx triaD 11-06-2009 10:12 AM

I think the points are pretty clear. We have a Spectator Mode, I hope this isn't what they meant by having a lobby. A Replay Theater. What appears to be a Survival Mode against live players. And Bonus Stages.

Drakul 11-06-2009 12:19 PM

Yeah but I thought maybe there is some smaller details in the text like if we can save a reply of any match or something.
At 1:00 the video shows "Channel Select". What is it? It has 10 animated panels.

Kalyx triaD 11-06-2009 01:11 PM

Maybe that's the replay feature. Not too sure, though.

Drakul 11-06-2009 01:19 PM

I thought that at first but they are all animated from weird angles. The one on the bottom left is a close up of stars, like a rating system. Maybe it's just a movie player like in SFIV to view trailers and the intro.

Drakul 11-06-2009 03:39 PM

Quote:

The official ssf4 website has been updated with a new trailer showcasing the new recently announced online modes and bonus stages:

(They posted the trailer here but it's already in this thread. - Drakul)

In addition, Nakky’s blog has also been updated with information about the new modes. And luckily for us adrisang did the translation of the blog post.

From andriasang.com: “As hinted at for months now, bonus rounds are back for Super Street Fighter IV. The system section of the official site contains a look at car and barrel bonus rounds, both of which should be familiar from older SF titles.

The page confirms that the bonus stages can be played not just in the game’s Arcade Mode, but in Challenge Mode as well. Once you’ve cleared a bonus stage in arcade mode, you’ll be able to select it in Challenge Mode (you’ll also be able to skip the bonus stage in future play sessions).

http://www.andriasang.com/blog/2009/...2132397379.jpg
http://www.andriasang.com/blog/2009/...2132397381.jpg

Also getting a full introduction at the site are the game’s new network features. The network section introduces the following:

Endless Battle

An endless online tournament playable by up to eight. The loser of each fight goes to the end of the line and waits for another chance to fight. Players who aren’t fighting can watch the fight and take part in voice chat. This mode continues as long as players are online. You’re free to switch characters during the course of play.

Team Battle

Team battle supports up to eight players, with two teams ranging from 1 to 7 players on each team. That’s right, you can have seven players gang up on a single super World Warrior. You can also set the game to manually create your teams, using player points to create two equal sides. Once you’ve created a team, you can choose to manually set the order in which your members participate, or you can have the game choose for you. As with the Endless Battle Mode, players who aren’t fighting can watch the current fight.

http://www.andriasang.com/blog/2009/...2132397383.jpg

Replay Channel

This mode lets you “gather” and “view” replay data. The replays are viewed in streaming form through “channels,” which can be viewed simultaneously by other players. Those viewing the same channel can engage in voice chat.

The replay channels are split up into themes, examples being a channel consisting of boss characters and one with newcomer fighters.

Replays that you happen to like can be added to your My List. Replays on this list can be viewed and edited (I’m not sure about the extents of the editing). When viewing your My List, you don’t get sthe communication aspects of this mode — it’s just your own personal channel.

Tournament Mode

Not all the content will ship on the Super Street Fighter IV disc. Capcom plans on offering a Tournament Mode via download following release. This mode promises the following features:

•Tournament for up to eight players
•Players can watch the matches of others
•Voice chat compatible (for up to 9 players — including the person who arranges the tournament)
•Can save replays, even for fights that you watch
•You can give special titles to winners
•The tournament progression and results have been made visual. (I’m not sure what this means exactly.)

The official website was also updated by new portraits of Chun-li and Cammy as well as voice clips of the characters who have a protrait on the official website.
I guess that answered my question about the text in the trailer and other info from the blog. I'm liking this sudden release of information. Endless battle sound good to me.
I guess the channel thing is for replays. I think "editing" will be altering the camera angle and stuff.

Emperor Smeat 11-06-2009 11:21 PM

Is this still set for $40 or Capcom changed the price ?

Drakul 11-07-2009 12:49 AM

Yeah, still $40 as far as I know. Not sure how much it will be for those of us in the UK though.

Funky Fly 11-07-2009 01:37 AM

Probably gonna be $50 - $60 here in Canada.

I thought it was always thought to be on the disc but as an "expansion pack" deal with just the Halo 3 multiplayer being the DLC type of the game.

If you meant Super SFIV then yeah that was their goal and then they just kept adding stuff and tweaks. Wouldn't be completely surprised if Capcom goes to $60 for this game based on pricing of DLC in their other games.

Capcom US posted a link to the Japanese site today with the headline "New Super Street Fighter IV Art and... A New Challenger?", leading us to believe that's exactly what Nakky is talking about. According to a translation of the post by Azrael from the Shoryuken forums, the post teases big news that will also be appearing in next week's issue of Japanese video game publication Famitsu, with a promotional video going up on the Capcom site around the same time.

Yes, it's an announcement of an announcement, but at least we have a nice picture to dissect between now and next week.

So a returning character or a new character? "New Challanger" could mean either. Also, new stage. Looks to be New York.
Any ideas on who it could be if it's a returning character or do you think it'll be a brand new character?

Edit:
SPOILER: show
Just saw a video showing Rolentos secret stage from SFA2 and it's a construction site in New York. Looks like we have Rolento on the way. Awesome if it is.

Kalyx triaD 11-22-2009 01:03 AM

Wow... Rolento.

Also, not liking this trend of 'announcements of announcements'.

Drakul 11-22-2009 02:45 AM

The time and energy used to announce an announcement couldnt be used to actually announce what they are announcing the announcement of. Everyones announcing anouncements now. Capcom with SSFIV, R* with RDR and Nintendo announcing they'll annnounce info about Zelda at E3.

As for Rolento, would it be a good thing or a bad thing if it is him? If it is him and that's his stage, maybe it also means character specific stages are back.

Kalyx triaD 11-22-2009 02:49 AM

I'd like Rolento, but Alpha has enough love. Where's 3rd Strike representation?

Drakul 11-22-2009 02:54 AM

I never played 3rd Strike and if I did, I don't remember. Maybe it is a 3rd Strike character. Looking at the 3rd Strike wikipedia to see if I know any of the characters (I've heard of most of them, it turns out.) and I see two characters have NYC stages. Sean and Alex. Could be one of them.
It's still likely Rolento, though.

Funky Fly 11-22-2009 06:24 PM

Fuck Rolento. I want some SF1 and SF3 appearances.

Kalyx triaD 11-22-2009 06:32 PM

Weren't the SF1 characters revamped/remixed in some way during the Alpha series?

Funky Fly 11-22-2009 06:37 PM

Eagle was redone for Capcom vs SNK 2. I wanna see more shit like that (first time reappearances).

Also, Joe from SF1 was supposed to be the criminal in Alpha 3, but they changed it to Cody from Final Fight at the last minute. Gay.

Kalyx triaD 11-22-2009 06:53 PM

I wanna see Ingrid make a 3D debut.

I've no idea if any of these guys are who the NYC Chun-Li image was going to reveal or not. At least one of them was very obvious given they appeared in a SFIV character intro.

Fignuts 11-24-2009 01:58 PM

So only two more characters left to reveal, and one is most likely a brand new character. Yeah, it looks like capcom hates sf 3 for some reason.

Drakul 11-24-2009 09:51 PM

I've read somewhere that Capcom said "at least 8" so there could maybe be more. Although Capcom said "around about 8" and then changed it to "at least 8" so I don't if Capcom is changing that or it's just whoever is reporting it.

Was SF3 popular? If it wasn't as popular as most SF games, that could be why they aren't including SF3 characters.

Blitz 11-24-2009 10:16 PM

GUY!!!!!!!! :love::love::love::love:

Blitz 11-24-2009 10:20 PM

Worth noting that so far that leaked list posted a couple pages back has been dead on. So don't be so sure about the lack of SF3 love.

Fignuts 11-24-2009 10:52 PM

Hopefully.

It's has to be Cody in the Chun-Li picture since it appears his stage is similar to the one in the Chun-Li picture and in the picture of him using an uppercut, it gets cut off before the whole inky part is show. Looks like the rest of that inky part is in the Chun-Li picture.

Drakul 11-25-2009 02:20 AM

It may be Cody but the ink trail looks like its coming from a focus attack that goes in a downwards motion rather than an uppercut. Someone online said you can sae a statue of Mike Hagger in the background of the Chun-li picture so it's Metro City, not NY. So it's likely Guy or Cody's stage.

Funky Fly 11-25-2009 02:31 AM

Guy :y:
Cody :n:
Adon :|

Fuck Cody. Seriously.

Funky Fly 11-25-2009 02:35 AM

Not gonna lie tho: Dudley and Makoto = win. I'd have preferred Elena, Yun or Yang over Ibuki, but fuck it 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Tis is all provided that list is true, tho.

thecc 11-25-2009 11:08 AM

I still want alex

You and me both. Also, I actually meant to put :-\ and not :| for Adon. He's not bad, I just don't think he's all that suited to this shit. Sub him out for Yun and Yang and add some of the SF3 originals (ie. guys who aren't SF2 ripoffs like Remy) and we have some good shit going.

Kalyx triaD 11-26-2009 05:32 AM

Cody? Adon?

This does it... They actually do not like 3rd Strike. Do they find it a weak entry? Perhaps the fact that it dropped around the time fighters died gives it a bad 'aura' or something. Let's face it: Juri, T.Hawk, Dee Jay, Guy, Cody, Adon... That's about three characters left if any, and will they really be 3rd Strikers? I hope, but it doesn't seem likely anymore. I have read rumors, but I don't feel like putting up hope anymore.

In any case, SSF4 still looks like a definite buy. More characters mean more variety in comp, so let's have it.

Blitz 11-26-2009 09:58 AM

Christ, is anyone paying attention? Capcom never said "exactly 8 new characters". Could be more. Wait till everything is announced to begin bitching, at least.

Super V 11-26-2009 10:09 AM

I doubt if they're going to even add 8. This is Capcom we're talking about.

Khuntry 11-26-2009 10:17 AM

If that's how its gonna be i want the rest to be new characters

Kalyx triaD 11-26-2009 12:08 PM

It would seem we're all a bit underwhelmed by the latest Alpha entries. Meanwhile, who fucking knew Cody and Adon had so many fans at SRK (typical). At the very least we have great new modes and all characters unlocked at launch. SF4 is still a great game. And who knows... we might come to like the new/old challengers. I didn't think Sakura would nearly be my main a year ago.

Count it up, what I said has more than 8. Settle down, yourself, Blitzkrieg.

Blitz 11-26-2009 06:12 PM

Was responding more to Kalyx and Fig.

Cody I could take or leave. Guy I wanted. Adon looks like he could have be fun to play.

Funky Fly 11-26-2009 06:17 PM

Seriously, tho: Dudley, Makoto, Yun, Yang, Elena, Alex... any of them would be phenomenal additions.

Drakul 11-26-2009 06:26 PM

The list posted a while ago has been accurate so far, as Blitz said. So we should be getting 3rd Strike characters soon.

They said 8-ish new characters meaning maybe a little more or a little less. Plus I'm not sure if that 8 included T.Hawk, Dee Jay and Juri. Didn't they say there would be about 8ish more fighters after revealing T.Hawk etc?.

I don't care about Guy or Cody but Adon is alright.

Dudley I wouldn't mind. Makoto never did much for me. I'd love Elena, Yun/Yang or Alex.

Funky Fly 11-26-2009 06:32 PM

All those fucking El Fuerte spammers are gonna be fucked with Guy around.
