Speaking of MVP, I still can't believe that WWE bothered to bring him back for Raw 25 just to have him sit in the background in a backstage segment. The Rumble was just days away and he almost certainly would've gotten a really nice reaction as opposed to any number of people in that match where the fans sat on their hands when they entered.

Well... I don't have much of an opinion on MVP at Raw 25 but I am interested in knowing what is up with him? I read that he was cut from MLW quietly, I wonder what happened? People seem to not get a long with him well.

A casual fan friend of mine was watching Moustache Mountain v. Undisputed Era with me, and he was amazed that wrestlers can go that long without ever taking a drink of water. Is that weird to you guys? If anything, they mock water by spitting it out (HHH).

Speaking of which, I just got access to AXS and watched that 2 out of 3 falls match between Omega and Okada. Loved it. Cornette (and Noid) really should ease up on Omega.

The moment near the end after Kenny hit the One Winged Angel but couldn't go for the pin and they ended up just laying next to each other with their heads propped up on the bottom rope for a bit. Fucking fantastic.

It was amazing, each fall was its own match and didn't feel 70 minutes

I have already seen it three times I was in awe of it. I'm always into wrestling but that match got me like REALLY into wrestling again.

I got up to watch that whole show live and that match shot me with such an adrenaline boost. I went out for a run after.

And I don't think there was a single kickout of a finisher. Crazy concept nowadays.

JR actually pushed the fact that Omega has kicked out of Okada's finisher but Okada hasn't kicked out of Omega's and it wasn't just to build up Okada kicking out of Omega's finisher.

It added something to Omega going for it so many times. Normally it might be "Why the fuck is he so desperate to hit that move that gets kicked out of 5 times a match?" Instead it made total sense.

on the Noid scale that match of the century only has 2.5 out of 4 stars, compared to Tully and Arn versus R & R express from 1986 which garnered 18 out of 4 stars.

Wouldn't mind watching Tully and Arn vs R & R Express, tho!

I think Cornette's "he should be ran out of the business" is a bit much. Just because everyone in wrestling has done shit like that (and a large part of why no one really draws). But I think his objective assessment on the guy's skills are right on the money. He's a great athlete who can pull off moves, but is kind of spotty when it comes to telling a story. Haven't seen that 2/3 Falls Match though. Saw the first one between them and thought it was very good/lower-g great. Lots of spots that took me out of the match. I don't remember anything else about the match though, except that Omega didn't hit his finish.

I sincerely preferred Styles and Cena from the same month. So that "six star match" wasn't even the best for its fucking month for me. I think that's WWE fatigue setting in on people and causing them to overrate anything they find slightly enjoyable (Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Elias, a lot of New Japan, etc.). I'm glad people are finding fun, but I don't accept objective arguments that Kenny Omega is the greatest wrestler in the world. Sorry. He got upstaged by CJ Parker at a recent show.

Seems WWE could be facing a similar PR problem that Kenny Omega had to deal with for the CEO X NJPW event. Same sex offender was reported to have been hanging around NXT during the recent TV tapings there.

Unlike with Omega's claims, WWE might be more aware of this guy due to his girlfriend (Amber Nova) currently works for the company.
