Why not just stick with the original lineup in the first place...or one of the lineups at any time after that. Even up to the present time, it appears the roster keeps shifting.

I'd rather see an ever changing group. One that changes leaders and members, cycling in the eliminated NXT'ers and even including a diva to go after the women's title. The horsemen had many different "Evoloutions" ;)
They could keep the idea they started with of taking over.Since WWE changes rosters quicker then ever now, this could be a way of weeding out the crap, yet still selling merch.

Nexus should take over Raw build a new set use it once and have their own ppv.

I guess I can agree with this, but over a longer time scale than what WWE has given us. Rotating 6 or 7 guys in and out over the course of only 8 months since the Nexus started seems a bit pointless to me. Shouldn't they already have an idea of who they want from FCW to push on Monday Night Raw? I would like to see guys like Slater and Gabriel with some personality.

Through the transitive property Batista being Marcus Fenix means that Batista is also:

Looks like some cartoon character that I can't quite remember. Has like orange skin, and blonde hair. Possibly also wears blue.

Mr. Nerfect 01-13-2011 03:45 AM

Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater's relationship with Wade Barrett should remain steadfast, I think. Well, Gabriel & Slater have always gotten along (for the most part), and they are former WWE Tag Team Champions. Their professional relationship with Wade Barrett is a good excuse to keep them all together. They can have better matches on SmackDown!, and I expect them to be really well booked. If only there was still a tag team division for Slabriel to be a part of...

I like that CM Punk has trimmed Nexus down, and with Husky Harris being young and having some size, Michael McGillicutty being great in the ring but also being competent (if not flashy) on the mic, and Otunga being...well, the WWE likes him -- I think they could get quite polished as a group.

Probably took the Simpsons ride at Universal Studios.

Note: TNA announced that they are having a PPV but the scheduled date falls on the same night as a WWE PPV! Both Destination X and Money In The Bank appear to be happening both on July 17.

I wonder who will back off and change the date of the ppv. Probably TNA since they really don't want to get their ass kicked by the WWE anymore than they already are.

Xero 01-13-2011 08:45 AM

TNA already backed off and changed it to the 10th.

I never considered that idea about using Daniel Bryan as a leader of a face Nexus Group.

That really interests me. He is liked by the fans but it's as if he is missing something. Maybe it's a personality, I'm not sure.

If he's the leader of a face group or maybe Cena is the leader for awhile before he turns heel on Bryan n the other rejected Nexus members..

That'd be a cool faction to compete against Cm Punks Nexus assuming Barrett n his boys remain heel on Smackdown.

I could see Gabriel and Heath making GREAT faces as I followed them when they were in Nxt, but I presume it's too early to turn Barrett face.

That'd have been like turning Sheamus face 6 months ago.

He needs more time to build as a heel before any turn.

There's still hope! if Del Rio wins the WHC (which is realistically possible), Christian has a main event program already written for him:D

Not to mention, Hayes has been favoring veterans in the main event lately. Christian still has a chance!

So, in the latest issue of the WWE Heroes Comic Book...

Undertaker exhibits the strength to rip a tree from its roots and use it as a club.

Later on, he then exhibits the strength to rip a zombie's torso from the rest of the zombie's body, and use it as a club.

Adam Evans trys out for Tough Enough

Adam Evans is a legend who took nothing from noone.

Growing up in a small town of 300, he excelled against the *farming community stereotype* and broke free.

As a child, he was always the tallest, strongest, most gifted individual in the class of 19. At recess, he would tower over the bullies and put them in their rightful place. He once saved a girl from falling off the monkey bars.

His room was filled with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage posters, along with a poster of Xero.

He was always told that if you want to be someone, get a job at a factory.

He wrestled with the likes of CM Spunk, and made himself known throughout the Midwest.

He's wrestled on Raw, ECW, and Smackdown along with many independent wrestling companies.

He's currently in Florida Championship Wrestling, waiting to become the next WINNER of Tough Enough.

Stay still my viewers, get ready to witness the NEW BREED.

Savio 01-13-2011 05:34 PM

Imagine if Adam Evans goes big and win the WWE title?

For the hand question, would you really want a hand job or anything of that nature with a veiny hand? I would figure that to be pretty nasty, and I'd be flipped out before I came, saw.....and came again. (Yeah, that's right, I just quoted Val Venus from Summerslam 98.)

I don't watch TNA but judging by Robbie E's picture, I'm guessing he has the same gimmick as Zack Ryder?

Lock Jaw 01-14-2011 05:57 PM

Thought Amazing Red was Tyson Kidd for a moment.

Like Ryan Seacrest, only better
By Brett Hoffman
May 31, 2006

When fans tune into SmackDown this week, they will notice a big change. Starting this Friday, the show will have a new host. The man chosen for the job is not completely unfamiliar to WWE fans. He is The Miz. WWE.com caught up with the reality TV star to find out what we can expect from SmackDown while he’s the host.

A devoted wrestling fan from birth, The Miz has been waiting for this moment for his entire life. As he explained to WWE.com, he has never been ashamed to admit it. “Ever since I started appearing on TV, I told people I wanted to be in WWE. The whole time I was on reality shows, I really wished I was on SmackDown. After all those years, I’m finally here and I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to get started.”

Seeing as how SmackDown has never had a host before, it’s only natural for the fans to be a little unsure as to what The Miz will actually do. The new host, however, is confident as to what his role will be. “My job is to keep the show moving nice and smooth. Think of it this way. The Miz is to SmackDown as Ryan Seacrest is to American Idol. Only, I am more talented, and slightly better looking.”

SmackDown’s newest Superstar claims to already have some big plans in mind for Friday nights. “If you ever watched me before, you know that I am not afraid to be a little controversial. I am not going to hesitate to stir the pot or create some drama. I come from reality TV, drama is my business.”

As part of his plan, The Miz sees the fans becoming even more involved in SmackDown. “One thing a host is supposed to do is get the fans to participate. Being a people person, that should be no problem for me. I will get the fans involved, and make them into WWE Superstars in their own right.”

To some fans, it’s no secret that The Miz has done his fair share of in-ring training. So, now that he will be involved with SmackDown on a weekly basis, is there any chance of The Miz becoming physically involved? “Absolutely. At some point the real Miz will emerge. Stay tuned because anything can happen when The Miz is involved. HOO-RAH!”

The comments in the thread.. How wrong we were!

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-14-2011 07:41 PM

did DJ Gabriel ever make it on Smackdown to be the DJ he spoke of?

VSG 01-14-2011 08:18 PM

He should have.

mike adamle 01-14-2011 09:10 PM

This doesn't deserve it's own thread, but I figured I'd just point it out. Was watching the Canadian Stampede 10 man tag earlier. Bret had Stone Cold in a sleeper and Austin gives him a chinbreaker to the head to get out of it. Just thinking, isn't that more devestating than the actual stunner? Nothing I'm really taking too seriously, just kinda thought about it.

Cool King 01-14-2011 09:12 PM

I've just finished watching the first disk from Chris Jericho's DVD and I noticed a TPWW.NET sign.

That is all.

Emperor Smeat 01-14-2011 09:13 PM

I'm putting the spoiler tags mostly for those who haven't watched Smackdown yet or didn't read the spoilers.

This one involves Barrett on Smackdown this week.
SPOILER: show
Which group of Nexus is supposed to be the Hollywood and the Wolf Pak since Barrett was the boss of Nexus (ex. Hogan in NwO) but also kicked out (ex. Hall/Nash in NwO) ?

I think it's sad and pathetic that two men in their 30's are having an argument over the internet and that Twitter is being brought into it.

I own one of these... im kinda sad to say that.

Volare 01-15-2011 11:52 AM

Off the front page.

Current WWE champion The Miz attended a Fozzy concert in LA on Wednesday night. He tweeted: “No matter what stage [Jericho] is on he knows how to make him the star n give every1 else there props. Great concert Fozzy!”

I guess Miz is a Jericholic after all.

Oh and lets not forget that I do ring announcing as well. Which allows me to control the reactions and emotions of a crowd of 500+ so I would say I have a little bit of power.
So feel free to "dumb it down" if you dont understand that I am better than you in every way.

End of Discussion. Period.

Twitter will become, if it hasn't already, a place like youtube where people just argue and say stupid shit constantly.

screech 01-15-2011 02:11 PM

I feel like that's already happened.

parkmania 01-15-2011 02:26 PM

Apparently, Hogan's due back Feb 3rd - the same night the new "They" will be revealed in TNA. Any chance that Hogan will be part of the new "They" and we'll have a Hogan/Bischoff feud?

Lock Jaw 01-15-2011 03:02 PM

Hogan/Hogan feud. Schizophrenic personality, one side is with the first "they", the second in "they 2.0".
