Yeah, there’s no guarantee the people watching will stick around for an extended period of time. |
938,000 this week for Dynamite.
HHH has won. |
938k compared to 2.23 million for a 3-hour Raw on a more competitive night of television? AEW is fucking kicking ass.

I wonder what replaces Dynamite and Rampage when WWE takes their slots? WCW Nitro and Thunder or NXT and Level Up?

In all seriousness, I’m glad xrod has someone he can look up to with this Seth Rollins gimmick. His people haven’t been properly represented since Eugene.

1.96 million for RAW this week
|
I have a feeling AEW is going to romp to victory again this week.

It’s not about how many viewers you have, it’s about how many you didn’t lose from the previous week. Whether this is sheer volume or percentage will be decided on a basis on what makes AEW look better.
|
Tbf over a long enough time line...yeah. retention rate will be the deciding factor. (Assuming theyre both hemorrhaging at the rate claimed with is unlikely.)

That’s down from the second one that did 527k and the first one that did 704k. There’s a trend there. |
Two of WWE’s 3 shows on A&E Sunday did better ratings than Battle of the Belts.

Tony seems to think that droves of fans want to watch his indy dream matches. Claudio vs Jay Lethal is a fine match but it didn't draw anyone that wouldn't have watched Battle of the Belts otherwise.

He's lost in the sizzauce.

I am actually excited for where WWE will be in a few months once all of the effects of new leadership have set it. It's a really exciting time because Vince and Nick did focus the roster down so much that the people they are using are all for the most part quite good. And Triple H has so much more up his sleeve I'm sure. I keep thinking about how exciting NXT was in the early days of it's expansion.
It's crazy that this shift has happened in WWE while at the same time chaos reigns in AEW backstage it seems. I don't know exactly how accurate that reporting is but it's obvious something is wrong because Tony is a total spazz and the booking and hiring has been ridiculous. Not saying I disagree with everything, I love Mox as champ and blood every week, I don't mind it. But there is a lot of bad decision's that have been made and continue to be made. |
TK and AEW will definitely need to make some monumental changes. WWE was already a behemoth that, in all likelihood, will never be dethroned for a litany of reasons.
However, now you have someone at the helm who has an amazing mind for what works on TV and what doesn't. The Behemoth is getting behemoth-er (great word, bigly word even) and they will need to do way better than they currently do. Very reminiscent of when WCW started to nosedive. One of my issues with WCW was their production. Always looked and sounded.... amateur I guess. The on-screen talent, and these small details are going to become more critical than ever. |

Does WWE have better camera work yet?

Nope. And now they only lead by >1 million. So that means AEW wins.
|
Well that’s clear as day.
|
972k for Quake at the Lake. Is has to be clear to people that the war is over. WWE loses.
|
The real game changer was when Claudio became ROH Champion, his first WORLD championship belt in wrestling.
