Honestly the battles that shouldn't be hard such as Raditz, Vegeta, Jeice and Burter and Dr. Gero are the hardest and the others arent.

Still playing a lot of Call of Duty and NHL 20. Just waiting for Final Fantasy and the Last of Us 2 to come out.

There are plenty of good games you can play in the mean time. Zone of the enders, undertale, persona 5, Madworld

Trying my hand at Ninja Gaiden for the NES on the Switch. I'm trying not to do save points and see how much my 'skills' have advanced over the years. I've never beaten it and I guess I'm too much of a masochist to just let it slide.

I've only had trouble with one story battle and I want to say it was the opening Goku v Vegeta, but only because I kept trying to use kaio-ken at the worst possible time and wasn't paying close enough attention to how much health it was draining. Tried it again and just played as normal and wrecked Vegeta as I have everyone else.

The only true challenging battles I've had thus far (I'm just getting to Namek now) is when I tried to train for the Super Masenko for Gohan well before the recommended level. That was a train wreck lol.

I just completed Battlefield 3 after buying it years ago just before my PS3 died. I only ever played online but the campaign was frantic and hard as hell. I might have to dig out COD Modern Warfare 3 and try that campaign.

I still have Assassins Creed and Assassins Creed Revelations to play plus a whole bunch of games my buddy gave me before he left town.

Deus Ex Human Revolution is one of them but I tried it and the hacking in it is an awful pain in the arse. I did like the difficulty level when doing combat missions though, that was cool.

They did patch a lot of the most major issues after FNV released (i.e. Doc Mitchell's head rotating around like a Mickey Mouse watch, etc.), but if you're hoping for a new round of patches on a game that's not only last-gen but also nearly a decade old since the vanilla release and nearly 8 years old since the Ultimate Edition (think GotY - it included all the DLC, including Gun Runners' Arsenal) released, then yeah, no, unfortunately that's never happening. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Purgatory 01-27-2020 08:42 PM

Fallout 3
Fallout 4
Forza Horizon 4
Farming Simulator 19

Sepholio 01-27-2020 09:48 PM

Finished Namek. Only Recoome was not a pushover and only because he has an insane amount of blocking and breaks damn near every long combo you try to put on him.

Maybe I missed them or something but ffs this game would benefit tremendously from difficulty levels.

Been diving back into Warframe on the Switch lately. Really fantastically fun game, especially for a f2p (I've yet to spend a dime on the game but will inevitably buy some Platinum or something to give a lil somethin' to the devs). Being a space parkour ninja is cool as hell

OssMan 01-28-2020 05:14 PM

Luigis Mansion on Gamecube hell ya...

rez 01-29-2020 02:52 PM

A friend convinced me to reinstall Team Fortress 2

Destor 01-30-2020 08:40 PM

Zone of the Enders is good. Destor has the most obvious hard on for persona

Persona 5 is one of my fav games ever. I dont know enough about your tastes, its very niche, but i love it.

I love persona. Its in my top 3 fav franchises at this point.

Sepholio 01-31-2020 03:13 PM

Finished Kakarot. It's a lot of fun and great fan service. I hope they continue it through Super, and wouldn't mind them adopting the original DB as well. It's a good format.

But it was too easy and it never got harder unfortunately. Battles have a typical letter grading system, S rank being the best then going to the typical A-whatever scale as you go lower. I don't know that it's possible to get worse than an A though. I never did, and even they were few and far between as I easily S ranked 98% of the battles. Even the secret level 100 boss was a pushover who only hit me maybe twice lol

I completely agree with this sentiment. Persona is just so well put together top to bottom. I think the only thing close to it for me in terms of adoration are the Soulsborne games.

Persona Boner Squad :y:

Destor 01-31-2020 04:56 PM

P6 will have a new creative lead...hope it holds up

Ultra Mantis 01-31-2020 05:26 PM

Damn, who's replacing him?

Destor 01-31-2020 06:15 PM

The lead, who did 3-5, left before 5 released to start a new studio (but still and Atlus subsidiary.) The core tean beneath him is still there though so its not entirely new people just one of his subordinates is now the lead.

So its not doom and gloom. Its just uncharted territory

Ultra Mantis 01-31-2020 06:56 PM

Ah cool, we've got years of worrying to do before it comes out so at least it's not been Konami'd. Still waiting on news of Phantom Strikers and SMT V.

Ultra Mantis 01-31-2020 08:25 PM

Oh man, totally forgot they used the likeness of a sweaty Hurley from LOST for a sidequest NPC in FFXV and didnt even hire Jorge Garcia to voice him. Did we ever get an explaination for this? He's stood ten feet away from the Cup Noodle sponsorship stall too. So bizarre.

RP 01-31-2020 09:11 PM

I bought a shmup off Steam called Gun Wings. I like it.

rez 02-02-2020 02:55 PM

Still playing through Assassin's Creed Odyssey..keep doing side quests and exploring rather than finish the story. Fuck the haters who don't like the RPG element introduced. One of the most visually stunning games I've played

Like I said, I got back into TF2..fun fun

Also recently got back into Splatoon II

The February Stadia games are Gylt and Metro Exodus so I'll probably start those this week

Recently re purposed my SF2 Arcade1Up cabinet with a Rasberry Pie 4 so I randomly play Mame, SNES, Genesis, etc. on it

I need to get out there and get some pussy before Cyberpunk comes out. I'll be in full blown neckbeard mode

Destor 02-02-2020 09:24 PM

Youve got till september at least

Sepholio 02-02-2020 10:03 PM

Assassins Creed Odyssey was incredible, 100% agree. I also kept getting side tracked and exploring. Always "let me just travel over to one more question mark on the map" mentality. I only progressed the main story when I had to.

Destor 02-03-2020 12:34 AM

I preffered origins kver Odyssee. Origins had a better crafting and leveling system. That said stealth was much better in odysee. Both are good tho

DAMN iNATOR 02-04-2020 04:28 PM

I was working through Rogue remaster but then along comes the fucking part where you have to sink Adéwalé's ship before you can kill him. It's essentially a 2-on-1 handicap tornado match with ships. My Morrigan is quite weak compared to his ship. Kept losing badly to him because I apparently haven't done enough to upgrade it, but that requires huge amounts of material and £ and I don't have the motivation to scavenge supply camps and abandoned shipwrecks to upgrade it to the point where I could take him down, so it's most likely getting deleted soon.

Seanny One Ball 02-04-2020 07:10 PM

Command & Conquer holds up damned well for a 20+ year old game.
So good.

Tokyo Mirage sessions is super good. The story makes Persona feel grounded but the game at its core is going to feel very familiar to you. Im only a few hours in (taking a detour before Trails 3) but so far the combat seems like it will have loads of potential

Ultra Mantis 02-06-2020 09:25 AM

I'll add it to the list :y:

I'm very disappointed on the main story line's conclusion @ Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

I'll still finish up the Atlantis and side quests for a bit tho.

GD 02-09-2020 01:28 PM

FEZ

Destor 02-09-2020 02:02 PM

Fez was good

The real main story line pay offs are actually v hard to get and are dependent on about 4 or 5 very key choices you make throughout the game and you are not warned of the relevance or significance of those choices when you make them.

The Atlantis content ending is the big pay off anyways and is basically the real ending. Unlike the other big DLC, the Atlantis stuff is a direct continuation of the mainline. The content also adds in a few new gameplay wrinkles that make it awesome af, particularly a couple of the craftable legendary weapons.

Sepholio 02-09-2020 03:16 PM

Also a lot of the main ending of Odyssey was tied to sidequests and other random things, so if you had a lot of outstanding quests and events then you likely missed out on a number of scenes that would have fleshed it out.
