Hey man I'd recommend you watch a 3 hour episode of WWE raw if you like to see very safe matches with absolutely no blading and very few bumps!
|
Don’t forget about watching the same guys wrestle each other every week and trading wins!
|
theres an art to putting on a compelling matches with minimal bumps. i dont concede that the greater the bump count the better the match. if thats true then the bucks should be drawing trillions
|
Yeah that rating has nothing to do with NJPW and everything to do with the B&G match, which isn’t sustainable. Whether they did a good enough job with the show to get people to come back next week will be interesting but I’d expect them to be back below the million next Wednesday.
Probably a similar story for Raw. A boost from everything going on with McMahon (was his appearance announced?) and from Cena’s rerun but I’d be surprised if they deliver 1.9m next week, though it is MITB this weekend so if they deliver something compelling off the back of that, maybe. |

I can’t wait for Dynamite’s 1 million to beat Raw’s 2 million this week.

That 3rd hour...no match for fireworks
1.56 million average https://i.postimg.cc/KjrrjcDL/Screen...3-53-39-PM.png |
Kind of surprised Wimbledon doesn't do bigger numbers
|
Predictably, AEW is back under 1 million.
|
Haven’t even seen the rating but the fact that Noid didn’t bother to mention it and could only spin it as “back under a million” makes me think it was actually a pretty small drop from Blood and Guts.

AEW got fewer viewers than a hot dog eating contest on at 4 in the afternoon. |
To be fair to AEW though, the hot dog eating contest was only an hour. Ratings may have dropped if it had gone into the second hour with an extra sauerkraut round.

Guy’s even coming back and quoting his own old posts as an excuse to try to bury inconvenient truths. Jesus.

Horrible show this week. They'll be lucky to break 900,000 next week

FyterFest should see an increase, because it’s FyterFest. It’ll cancel the drop from the show this week getting worse and worse. FyterFest is looking a bit like it sucks though, so it’ll probably not see an increase week two. The Dynamite after will probably be back down to <900k. Then Fight for the Fallen will get them back over before they’re down again. But they might get Danielson back for a match. It’s all extremely artificial spikes they’re seeing though, which reflects on the product.

Wow #1 again for the night by a wide margin... Great sign!

Our watchalong tonight will draw higher numbers. I'm expecting around 100 million
|
With the star power arriving to celebrate the one year anniversary of the watch-along tonight, 100 million might be low!

#1 on cable again! AND the “They need a special show to draw!” myth is shattered as last week’s regular show drew better numbers!

And YoY matters again! Russo-esque spastic rule changes made wrestling better forever and will soon do the same for wrestling discussions!

You know what tangible evidence matters? Ticket sales and ppv buyrates, of which AEW does very well in, including a show like forbidden door that had a shit build and got plagued with injuries and talent dropping out due to sickness.
Love or hate AEW, they’re doing well. |

I really think you should try a gimmick though.
There’s a titty-honking hole in the soul of TPWW that could use some filling. |
