Yep. He was a ref for the then WWF back in '01, then took some time off, came back to manage D'Lo in '03 with a 'race card' gimmick sort of thing going on with D'Lo, who Teddy eventually fired, and then managed Rodney Mack, who I'm not sure, but I think had a similar deal going as Brown, and I seem to recall Mack and Jazz being an on-screen "item" while Teddy managed them. Then, finally, he managed the "Reflection of Perfection" Mark Jindrak, the narcissistic guy who couldn't stop checking himself out in front of a huge mirror, on SD! in early 2004 before finally becoming GM later in the year.

What happened to this kid? Thought he would be World Heavyweight Champion by now.

Xero 05-28-2010 10:23 AM

Yes, I'm perfectly aware that he was a referee for WWE in the 90s and a manager in WCW. I'm also aware of everything you posted outside of the D'Lo angle, which I completely forgot about.

My time frame was off, that's all.

Lock Jaw 05-28-2010 12:42 PM

I like how Teddy Long still has the "Mack Militant" theme song despite Rodney Mack being long gone and forgotten.

DarKCentaur 05-28-2010 04:01 PM

I don't think the Dancing Fools were fully recognized for their contributions to the faction wars in WCW

Don't feel like making a new thread for this.

In light of news of Mickie James’ release from WWE last month, it was noted that she had few “run-ins” with Batista. During her final few months in the company, things become so heated that he threatened to quit if she wasn’t fired. At one point, The Undertaker had to step in to calm him down.

The two have past history as Brian Kendrick noted during a shoot interview with Highspots.com that years ago, Batista printed out nude photos of Mickie and plastered them on the locker room walls after he became agitated with her. Even James herself considers the photographs highly unsuitable as shortly after her WWE debut in 2005, she threatened to sue any website who published them. The photos had come to light due to her newfound fame.

ONE-DAY-ONLY: The Mickie James **NUDE** PICS – ROAST BEEF!
I like how it is reported that she was going to sue any website that published them, and then immediately afterward, there is a link to roast beef.

shitting in peoples bags, ordering gay porn and plastering nude photos everywhere

anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation locker room

DeathValleyBarry 05-29-2010 11:15 AM

I miss World War 3 :(

Schlomey 05-29-2010 11:24 AM

I agree with most here. WCW had the cruiserweights & a strong mid card. While the writing in the upper card was mostly bollocks (especially the latter years) , many a show would be saved with a Jericho promo/match, Malenko, Benoit, Horsemen, Juvi ect.. match.

TheAdamEvansFan 05-29-2010 11:37 AM

It'd be Badass IF WE had a huge triple cage match and all the best of the best showed up for it. The Rock, Stone Cold, etc.. One night only..

TheAdamEvansFan 05-29-2010 11:38 AM

BTW, thanks guys for letting me put together a successful thread based on wrestling!

TheAdamEvansFan 05-29-2010 10:00 PM

Next Years Wrestlemania = WCW style

What's your WCW matches that'd you like to see at next years Wrestlemania?

Include some old rivalries, maybe some WWE talent that you'd like to see face old WCW wrestlers.. ETC..

Sting vs Goldberg
Arn Anderson vs Milenko
Rey Mysterio vs Billy Kidman
Rick Steiner vs Booker T
Stevie Ray vs Booker T
Cena vs Goldberg
Edge vs Billy Kidman
The Giant (Big Show) vs Goldberg
Kevin Nash vs The Giant (Big Show)
Konnan vs CM Punk
Rey Mysterio vs John Cena
Undertaker vs Kane
Chavo Guerrero vs Psychosis
Chavo Guerrero vs Konnan
Raven vs The Sandman - Hardcore Match
Cactus Jack vs Hardcore Holly
Chris Jericho vs Billy Kidman vs Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero - 4 way.
Triple Cage Match or World War 3 or Factional War.
Tag Team Battle Royal

These are just some injections that I'd like to see in next years wrestlemania.. Some of it might be reaching, but that's what a forum is for!

jskinnyg 05-29-2010 11:26 PM

Although for nostalgic thought a lot of this would kick ass... Most of these guys are too fucking old and Vince's ego is way to big to let his baby (WM) be swept with another companies memories... Although the rumored WCW themed HOF might happen b/c he's eventually gonna run out of HOF candidates...

Go ahead TPWW Snobbies.. trash it...

The Pope 05-29-2010 11:30 PM

Not really bud. TP-Dub is more about knowing your shit than making an ass out of yourself for all of teh internets to see.

Oh, and you do realize that thanks to you most of the people here would rather burn Adam Evans' house down than watch him wrestle, right? That's not getting him heat it's making people hate him. There's a difference.

Schlomey 05-29-2010 11:55 PM

DDP vs Undertaker comes to mind as a somewhat plausible match that most internet fanboys might want to see. A little payback/redemption.

blak23 05-29-2010 11:57 PM

if this thread was just dream matches fine, but why would anyone but another companies matches on their companies biggest show of the year?

blak23 05-29-2010 11:58 PM

and also undertaker vs. kane has nothing to do with wcw

The Pope 05-29-2010 11:58 PM

Maybe Raven vs Hak in a Hardcore match.

Yep *grabs torch and map to Adam Evans house*

DarKCentaur 05-30-2010 01:15 AM

Adam Evans vs New Jack

BOOK IT

MoFo 05-30-2010 01:49 AM

If you were going with cross-promotional matches rather than solely WCW matches, Sting v Taker and Goldberg v Cena would probably be tops, Im sure mid-carders like Malenko could still put on a good match as well with say, Jericho.

You are a terrible poster who needs to learn that you are an idiot. No, I'm not blindly making fun of the new guy, but this subject matter sucks. In addition to that some of your matches are COMPLETELY unfathomable. How would you book The Rated R Superstar vs some dude that works backstage? A guy who said he wouldn't wrestle for WWE vs someone who might get into the Hall of Fame for being a flash in the pan? What about two people who cannot wrestle anymore?

WCW is dead. Let it rest in peace like the child in the silent Mary Pickford film "Ramona". You're saying let WWE base its biggest show of the year on a company that brought you things like Gary Coleman getting hit with a guitar and Judy Bagwell on a pole. Yea, good luck with that shit. Without a modicum of sarcasm I can honestly say that we'll see Haystacks Calhoun in the WWE Hall of Fame before WWE does a WCW based PPV, let along a WCW based Wrestlemania.

Either step up your game or stop posting. Dealer's Choice.

Shank on a pole match. Damn where's Russo when his booking would actually be of some value?

Mr. Nerfect 05-30-2010 07:30 AM

If Goldberg does do something at WrestleMania next year, I'd like to see it be a program with The Miz. I think that would be very entertaining.

TheAdamEvansFan 05-30-2010 08:24 AM

I'm not sure if The Miz is at that level to waste Goldberg on.

I'd more like to see it with Jericho since they were in WCW.

Maybe Jericho can be like, Oh hey there overrated POS.

TheAdamEvansFan 05-30-2010 08:54 AM

D.O.A.: Dead or Alive

This is a newer fighter movie that came out in 2006.

Kevin Nash plays a hilarious but credible character.

I'd recommend you watch it if you're into women, wrestling, and actual decent storylines.

Schlomey 05-30-2010 09:33 AM

apparently Teddy Long hasn't been suit shopping for several years.

That guy is my all-time favorite ref. I love how fans got into the ring a few times in WCW and the refs and wrestlers were always hostile towards them.
