KIRA 01-01-2015 02:39 AM

same here and yea i do shift to Bruce Greenwood very now and then
but its not intentional

Kalyx triaD 01-01-2015 07:59 AM

The guy's good.

KIRA 01-01-2015 08:29 AM

No Jason O Mara?

Kalyx triaD 01-01-2015 08:40 AM

Eh.

Lock Jaw 01-11-2015 03:50 PM

Vixen getting her own animated series apparently....

Kalyx triaD 01-11-2015 04:20 PM

Is it in the CW-verse? Those costumes look very close to live-action. Also, CW has a cartoon block?

Lock Jaw 01-11-2015 04:21 PM

It is in the CW-verse.... it will be on something called "CW Seed" which may or may not be an only-online thing. Too lazy to research.

McLegend 01-11-2015 04:26 PM

Also there is very talks with a general idea for a spin off of The Atom.

Kalyx triaD 01-11-2015 04:49 PM

I suppose there might be some advantage to riding that Ant-Man wave.

Fignuts 01-11-2015 08:20 PM

Always liked vixen.

One of my favorite JLA moments is her single handedly taking out Amazo.

Lock Jaw 01-11-2015 08:29 PM

Animal Man cooler

Fignuts 01-11-2015 10:52 PM

He's definitely had the better written book, but Vixen has more of an "edge" to her. More badass.

Lock Jaw 01-11-2015 11:22 PM

I think the "family man" superhero would be a good fit right now in the CW-verse where Arrow is all about isolating himself from romantic relationships, and advising Flash to do the same....

Miotch 01-12-2015 01:26 PM

Yeah, it's going to at least start online only and it's in the CW verse.

There are also discussions of an...

SPOILER: show
Atom live action spin off featuring Brandon Routh

Kalyx triaD 01-12-2015 05:44 PM

With talk of Supergirl possibly being in the same universe, this could get very awesome very fast.

KIRA 01-14-2015 01:24 AM

Just got done with "Throne of Atlantis which should be called "Why you don't fuck with Aquaman". The action and dialogue are great overall its a vast improvement over Justice League WAR I give it 8/10

One important thing here that I love NO BATMAN like he doesn't even get into physical fights in this one.I say its great because it was still an awesome story told about a very underrated hero and didn't need Batman to prop it up which I think DC thinks they need to do most of the time.

Its also weird just how central Cyborg has been lately

Shadow 01-14-2015 12:53 PM

During Nu52, DC decided they needed to focus on something other then the Trinity of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman. So they set up a dart board, put all their characters on it, and threw a dart at someone. Cyborg was chosen to be the focus of Nu52 for some...reason hence why he's so central. At least at first.

DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation (via THR) have revealed the voice cast for the upcoming animated film Batman vs. Robin, which is inspired by the Batman: The Court of Owls storyline from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.

Jason O’Mara, Sean Maher, and David McCallum will all return in the respective roles of Batman, Robin, and Alfred. With Jeremy Sisto (“Suburgatory”) joining as the voice of Talon, the Court’s almost unbeatable assassin; Grey Griffin as a character named Samantha; and “Weird” Al Yankovic as The Dollmaker, a Batman villain who previously has appeared on “Arrow” and been teased on “Gotham”; Robin Atkin Downes as Grandmaster; Peter Onorati as Draco; and fan-favorite Batman voice Kevin Conroy will guest star as Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s father.

Jay Oliva, who previously directed Batman: Assault on Arkham and both parts of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns in addition to storyboarding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, will helm the feature from a script by comic writer J.M. DeMatteis.
So we're keeping track, this is in-line with the other Nu52 animated movies and serves as direct sequel to Son of Batman.

Stephen Amell is awesome for doing the voice work.

And no, there doesn't seem to be a Flash TV themed DLC in the future. Yet. Maybe. They're secretive.

Lock Jaw 01-14-2015 02:34 PM

Why would they call it Batman vs. Robin? Seems very weird.... Especially since there was another storyline called Batman vs. Robin.

Lock Jaw 01-14-2015 02:36 PM

DLC still the worst thing ever

KIRA 01-14-2015 03:03 PM

O'Mara must be doing something right they keep asking him back.

The Destroyer 01-15-2015 04:27 PM

Tom Hardy is out of Suicide Squad due to scheduling conflicts.

Jake Gyllenhaal might be in line to replace him though.

Kalyx triaD 01-15-2015 07:30 PM

That guy's been itching to do a DC movie for years (only to see his sister land a big one before him). Good for him if he gets it.

DC is overdoing it on the Batman stuff. I love the guy but damn.

Kalyx triaD 01-18-2015 02:18 AM

One team-up and one Batman movie. That's the deal, says DC.

KIRA 01-18-2015 02:33 AM

They really think no one has the desire to see the other heros in their lineup?

I mean Marvel proved you can market virtual unknowns.

This is a bad idea .

Kalyx triaD 01-18-2015 07:04 AM

$$$

And in any case, we're living in a time where Green Arrow is a hot TV show. DC slowly but surely digs into their roster.

alvarado52 01-18-2015 02:57 PM

I hear Batman v. Ingrown Toenail is gonna be hot.

Shadow 01-18-2015 05:17 PM

But that's always how DC has treated their AU. Batman teams up with whoever's hot a the moment. It's how they started and it'll be how they end.

Well like I said thats one reason I enjoyed Throne of Atlantis having Batman be a virtual non-entity.

Shadow 01-18-2015 09:13 PM

Yeah that kinda...perplexed me. Batman was barely in Throne of Atlantis and left me scratching my head a bit.

KIRA 01-19-2015 07:51 AM

I don't think there is anything he could've contributed honestly....air support and piecing things together are kinda all he was good for.

Sixx 01-19-2015 08:03 PM

Wait, so Hardy officially backed out of the Suicide Squad?

JimmyMess 01-19-2015 08:34 PM

yessum

Damian Rey 01-19-2015 11:37 PM

Didn't like the script, allegedly.

I read it was a scheduling conflict.

Vastardikai 01-20-2015 12:27 AM

I still want to see a film noire-like action movie with the Question.

And a Lobo movie. And there has to be a Live song playing when he rides through space with his dolphins.
