Gargano v. Ciampa is going to be fucking epic.

For singles, definitely.

For any match, the one he had as part of Team Smackdown at Survivor Series 2016 was great overall.

Anybody Thrilla 03-19-2018 04:19 PM

Jack Gallagher needs a Cruiserweight title program. Kinda looks like they're poising him for one after Wrestlemania right now. I just hope that's the plan. Dude is so good.

Anybody Thrilla 03-19-2018 04:55 PM

Why is Dakota Kai so adorable?

Anybody Thrilla 03-19-2018 06:24 PM

Toni Storm is pretty fucking hot.

According to both the Observer and PWI, AJ Styles injury at last Friday's RAW's MSG house show is legit. Same for him getting pulled from last weekend's set of house shows due to the injury.

Styles did not work any Smackdown Live touring events the remainder of the weekend. Instead, Nakamura teamed with Randy Orton against Zayn and Owens.

PWInsider.com can confirm Styles is dealing with an injury, although we have not confirmed the nature of the issue. Styles is backstage at Raw in Dallas today to be looked over by WWE medical staff, we are told.

Anybody Thrilla 03-19-2018 06:53 PM

Santana Garrett, also hot.

Anybody Thrilla 03-19-2018 06:54 PM

And I really, really, really hope AJ's injury isn't serious.

Anybody Thrilla 03-19-2018 07:31 PM

Lacey Evans and Taynara Conti...also hot. Just so you all know.

Savio 03-19-2018 09:47 PM

There was a Cyber Sunday one year where the WWE fans got to vote on who would be Ric Flairs tag partner (to win the titles from spirit squad). Wish Dusty Rhodes got the vote since he never held a WWE title before.

Seems worth posting again.

Shame Sonya plays for the other team. Unless Mandy felt like experimenting one night. In which case I would like to see the tape.

Anybody Thrilla 03-20-2018 12:06 AM

I'd like to be the ref.

Anybody Thrilla 03-20-2018 02:01 AM

Just noticed Johnny Gargano as a security guard in one of the segments in the first season of NXT where Daniel Bryan and Michael Cole were getting into it.

Anybody Thrilla 03-20-2018 02:23 AM

I never watched the third season of NXT, so I'm starting now. This is fucking hilariously stupid. I might finish this whole thing tonight.

Emperor Smeat 03-20-2018 02:46 AM

Yeah the season was pretty great for the amount of comedic moments but also pretty terrible in hind sight from the non-stop trashing of the all-female cast by Cole and WWE making it obvious they barely cared about the season. Cole really comes off as the worst person involved the longer the season goes on.

Think only Redemption was treated worse during its seasonal phase.

Anybody Thrilla 03-20-2018 02:48 AM

I'm gonna check out Redemption after this season.

Also, I'm not sure if you guys are hip to this or not, but Maxine, Jamie, Kaitlyn, and AJ are all pretty fucking hot.

Anybody Thrilla 03-20-2018 03:40 AM

I forgot about Punk joining commentary on this season. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

Remember when Taynata Conti kind of 'joined' the Undisputed Era, that lasted long.

Savio 03-20-2018 10:04 AM

Some of the clips at the end are pretty funny.

That was a great 9 minutes or so.

Jesus. The AAF football league is launching after the next Superbowl, on CBS and has Peter Thiel money investing in it by the son of longtime NBC Sports executive Dick Ebersol, doing everything Vince laid out for the XFL and beating them to market and network TV.

https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/03/20/al...-league-launch

There's not enough talent or support for 3 football leagues. I doubt the XFL launches now, unfortunately, as Vince won't move on from wrasslin'.

Evil Vito 03-20-2018 03:07 PM

The Miz and Daniel Bryan have consistently detested each other on screen for eight years. That's a level of continuity that's just unheard of for WWE.

Anybody Thrilla 03-20-2018 03:33 PM

Miz v. Bryan with the moveset on the line.

This league (and XFL v2) will only succeed if it ends up being a feeder/minor league system to the NFL. If they try to target the same type of market Vince wants, its going to fail miserably. Thiel being involved is also a big red flag though considering some of his views and rep.

Shame for the WWE since that valuable Vince-free period is gone or a lot shorter now. Triple H's side probably needs at least 1-2 years to do all the key changes and stuff in order to move away from the Vince era.

There was a period in early 2012 where they got along just because they were heels.

ClockShot 03-20-2018 05:45 PM

Mmmmmm. Betcha Vince didn't see that coming.

A new football league to compete with the XFL, out a year earlier, has some NFL players backing it/working it, network already established with CBS.

If NFL sorta kinda endorses this, Vince might as well just give up before he embarrasses himself.........again.

Currently watching the Feb.18 1984 Championship Wrestling show where they do a 10 bell salute to David Von Erich. 1984 WWF is amazing.

Just finishing Mar.17th Championship Wrestling. My friggen GOD was Slaughter ever over. I don't think he'd have Hogan's staying power at the top, but Slaughter could have had a 6-8 month run with the World Title

Bad News Gertner 03-20-2018 09:31 PM

Finkel just read off a fundraising event that the WWF was putting on at a high school gym lol. Tito Santana and Andre The Giant were among the wrestlers .

Watching a jobber match that the WWF would show in 1984 at times. Tremendous
